After a few hours of slient flying, Daniel couldn't stand the silence any longer. "How did Leaf Storm react, when you told her she had to stay?" Daniel asked looking at me. "After she yelled at me, I had a quick mental talk to her and she immediately calmed down after that." I answered with a shrug. "What'd you say to her?" Jesse asked. "Told her to shut up and that it was either that she stay or she be changed into a toy dragon to travel with us unnoticed and she really didn't like that idea." I laughed and the boys joined in as well.
"I missed having these trips." I suddenly stated and the boys nodded in agreement. "Okay so this question has been bugging me all day. But, how is you'lls relationship going?" Daniel asked making me laugh and shake my head in disappointment. "Daniel, you really need to get a relationship. Bothering us about ours is really disappointing, but if you must know we are doing good." Jesse answered looking at me with a smile and I returned it. "Hey! When I find a girl I'll tell you." Daniel yelled putting his hand on his heard like he had just been hurt. "Sorry Daniel but it is true." I laughed and he just rolled his eyes. I stuck my tongue out at him in a playful way and Jesse bursted out laughing at my childish behavior. "Fern your action like a five year old not a..... well whatever you age is." Danny waved off and I just laughed. "I'm 164, if you must know." I sighed. Jesse looked at me shocked. "Dang I'm dating an oldy." He teased and I just laughed and shot him a death glare. "I'll get you back for that." I threatened and he pouted. "What are you gonna do, throw me off my dragon?" He asked and I shrugged. "Maybe" I mocked and he looked at me shocked and feared.
We landed on a small island and set up camp for the night. I walked through the woods with my bow in hand searching for dinner. I swirled through trees, carefully stepping, till I came up on my prey. I quietly pulled an arrow out and lined it up on my bow for the prey. Crouching down, I lined my arrow with the prey and steadied my breathing. I pulled back and released the arrow letting it strike the buck right in the heart. "Gratias agimus tibi propter sacrificium" I whispered before walking over to the buck and picking it up.
Once I got back to camp, I placed the buck next to the fire and walked over to Jesse. "Dinner is here" I whispered in his ear. He quickly spun around and looked at me with a smirk. "Good" he said before pecking me on the cheek and walking over to the food.
"Aghhh!!!" I heard a scream from the woods. I quickly turned my attention to it and looked around. "That was Daniel!" Jesse said getting up. I quickly grabbed my sword and ran into the woods twords the scream. I ran straight into a large field. In the middle of it stood Daniel clutching his bleeding arm. I looked around to see a man with large blue wings flying above him with a sword in his hand. "Hey!" I shouted catching the flying mans attention. He took a look at me and his eyes widened in what I think is shock. "Nature Dea!" He said before quickly landing in front of me and kneeling down with his head to the ground. I froze in my position not understanding what to do. "Id quod vultis vobis subjicere in livorem meum" I asked in my language noticing that is only what he spoke. "Et ego nesciebam eum tecum in erroris paenitet , habito in domo hac silva et quasi minatur (for those of you that don't have Google translate, he said - I did not know he was with you and am sorry for the misconception, i live in these woods and he looked like a threat to my home). He quickly explained and I nodded in understanding. "Vos potest loqui Anglicus?" I asked. He looked up to me and nodded. "I can speak English" he said with a British accent. "Alright, please stand up I do not like the bowing, my name if Fern, the man you injured is Daniel and-" I was cut off by a hand wrapping around my waist and pulling me into a side. "I am Jesse her boyfriend." Jesse finished for me. "I am Christopher" Chris said looking between me and Jesse oddly. We both nooded before I pulled away from Jesse and walked over to Daniel. "Are you okay?" I asked helping him onto his feet. "Ow!" He hissed when I moved his arm. I just ignored him and helped him walk back to the camp where I could heal him.
