DAWSON'S POV

I still can't believe how easy it actually is to catch Eli's attention. If that's the case, then it looks like I'll be able to achieve my agenda effortlessly.

I gave my hair a stroke as I walked the hallway, and grinned.

Elizabeth Watson, you may be quite interesting, but I will not give in. You are nothing but an agenda.

Plus, I'm pretty sure that after all those things I did yesterday, I'm probably stuck in your mind.

I smirked at the thought, and I started hearing some giggles from the girls in the hallway.

Heh. Eli you may be clever, but you're just like one of them aren't you? Once charmed by a guy like me, you falter. Easy.

I walked the hallway full of confidence.

Yeah keep looking at this guy, because soon enough, the name of this guy is gonna be at the top of that bulletin board.

-----------------------------------------

When lunch break started I went to my locker to leave some of my things.

"Hey Derek, Emily." as I walked towards them.

"Hey Dawson!" Emily greeted back. "So I heard the story from Derek." then she wiggled her eyebrows.

"And?" I snorted.

"Well, congratulations of course!" she said, shaking my hands like I've already won something.

"I haven't won anything yet" I told them. "But I'm pretty confident." I smirked.

"That's good then." Emily said with a sigh.

"What?" Derek and I asked Emily in unison.

"Well," Emily started. "We all know how much you've always wanted this Dawson."

Then she gave me a warm smile, and I smiled back.

She hugged me, and I hugged her back. Derek and Emily has always been there for me ever since we were young. I owe them a lot.

"Hey hey now, don't go being all teenage-drama-queen on us Emily." Derek joked, we both laughed. Emily started punching both me and Derek lightly on our shoulders.

"Hey, Isn't that Ms.Top-of-the-bulletin-board?" Derek asked, looking at someone behind me and Emily. Then we both looked behind.

Eli was walking the hallway alone, and she also seems to be looking for someone. Then I turned my head back to Derek and Emily.

"So how does this game of yours work?" Derek asked with an evil grin.

"Watch and learn." I told them proudly and grinned.

When I turned to Eli's direction we both caught each others eyes, and I was expecting that she'd smile or even greet me, but she just kept walking like she didn't even see me. What was that about?

"Hey!" I called out, but she still kept walking.

I managed to catch up, and blocked her way.
