(This is Kirra)
Kou's POV
"Kou nii-chan, why was I named that way?"
"Because your name sparkles just like your beauty, Imouto" I told her as she pouted.
"Meanie! Tell me the truth already" she yelled. She punched my guts with her little hands while I laughed at her antics.
"But it's the truth Imouto ... Your name does sparkle like your beauty" I said patting her head. She still remained pouting.
"Why can't I be named differently like angel Gabriel"
I smiled at her showing my fangs.
"Because you're special... Our special Hime" I told her as she started to smile.
"Does Ruki-nii, Yuuma-nii and Azusa-nii think I'm special too?"
I laughed.
"Of course, they do!"
"How about the Sakamaki brothers and Subaru-chan?"
As soon as she mentioned it, my face contorted. I forced myself to grin.
"Of course, they love you. Even Subaru-kun... No one can hate a cute girl like my imouto" I said in a saccharine tone.
"That's great! Onii-chan, Subaru-chan told me when I grow up I'm going to be his bride"
I hugged her. "That's great imouto! I know you'll be a beautiful bride" She saw my brothers coming and Kirra wriggled out of my grasp. She went straight into Ruki nii-sama's arms.
"Nii-chan! Subaru-chan said I'm going to be his bride when I grow up"
"Really imouto? I know you'll be the prettiest bride ever" Ruki nii-sama said hugging her as we all joined in.
Everyone loved her. She was the light in the darkest of nights, Our angel... Our princess.
But all that changed one day...
"Kirra please wake up! Please!"
"S-Subaru-sama, I'm sorry... It looks like I won't- I won't be staying long"
"Ruki... H-How could this happen?" I looked into his eyes, fear and desperation was evident.
"I don't know, Kou. But that Sakamaki has no right to touch our sister! His brothers don't have the right and It's sure as hell he doesn't too. Especially after what just happened!" Ruki nii-sama bellowed pointing at Subaru holding our sister.
"That bastard! After all he's promised... He told us that he'll keep her safe! But he just let her die!" Yuuma said as he started to cry. Azusa could not handle what he was seeing.
I just stood there staring. I just can't believe we're losing her... Our princess... Our everything...
Gone...
"Kirra, please don't go" he pleaded but she placed her hand on his cheek and smiled at him.
The next thing she did forever left a scar in my heart...
"Subaru... I love you"
Then her hand fell lifeless like the last tear shed by her glass still eyes.
I was seething in rage. I was ready to snatch my sister's corpse from him. I wanted to break every bone in his body... I was held back by my brothers. They prevented something I would one day regret. But so far, I regretted not doing it.
There was also rain. The skies wept as we did. The clouds resembled our eyes. Endless tears, agonizing cries and almost a month of grief. No amount of sorrow could be enough. No amount of atonement for the sins we've committed. What did we do to make her go away? What did she do to be taken away? Why was our princess gone forever?
5 years of life. She could have lived longer. She could have been happy with us. But fate decided otherwise. It was on that day when we were forced to hate the Sakamaki's. For their broken promises... For their lies...
For killing my sister...
