Chapter One: Criminally Insane
*Alyssa*
"Just yesterday, six criminally insane lunatics were busted out of Arkham Asylum. We are warning members of the public to stay clear and keep a far distance if you should approach any of these people. If you have any news or updates about this then please contact Gotham City Police Department." The Commissioner on the TV reported. I stopped what I was doing and hummed.
"Only one person I know could pull this off," I mutter and take the remote and press the button off as I watch the screen go blank. I smile and walk around the cabinet that has my TV on. I wonder straight over to the glass table that was a few metres away from me.
I scan down and on the glass there was a small selection of different knives. The blades sing to me as I grin. I click my tongue and look at each knife individually. I want the perfect one. The one that will do the job.
"These are my friends. See how they glisten. See this one shine. How he smiles in the light. My friend, my faithful friend..." I sing under my breath and pick up a silver blade. I grin and hold it in my palm as I walk over to the centre of my room.
"A change of scenery is always nice, isn't it? I chose this instead of the cellar. It's different and there are still loads of surprises." I sing in a high pitch towards the end of the statement. I hear the muffles coming from the man who is strapped to the chair in the centre of the room. He has clear, salty tears running down his face and he's sweating like a pig.
"And you know all about surprises, don't you Mr C." I taunt walking around the chair he is and hold my blade to the rooms artificial light. I walk closer to him until I am stood behind him.
"About how your wife got such a surprise when she caught you in bed... with another woman." I whisper close to his ear. He visually tenses up and muffled shouts echo though the room. I smirk and stand up straight and go to face him directly.
I reach forward towards his face and grab the tape secured to his mouth. I grin widely as in one clean move I pull it off, but leaving the last bit hanging. He screams in pain and looks at me with his frightened blue eyes.
"Someone's been very naughty and deserves to be punished." I tut. His eyes widen and his face displays a horrified look. His breathing becomes heavier.
"Please... Please..." He begs. I shake my hand with the blade in it and at the same time shake my own head. My black hair with stripes of silver waves and bounces as I move my head from side to side.
"You deserve to be punished Mr C." I tell him again, my voice quietening down. He shakes his head and gasps lightly. I rock back and forth on my heels and watch him squirm.
"What have... I... I done to you?" He asks me. I shrug my shoulders and stand straight in front of him. Belittling him and making him feel small.
"Nothing. But you hurt your wife, so I will hurt you." I inform him. My heels click as I wonder under my light and tilt my blade so that the light reflects directly into his eye's, blinding him for seconds.
"Ahhhh!" He screams in pain. I stop and bite my lip. I reach into my black leather suit and pull out a small clock. I swing it from the golden chain that it had.
"You see this clock? This represents how long you have left on this world." I point to the clock and walk towards the man. He has blonde locks and is well toned but underneath all that talk was lies and deceit. A fake person and these are the people I hate the most.
"Please... please, I'll give you anything not to kill me. Money? You want money? I have a ton of it at home! Just please let me go and I will do anything, I promise that I will never be unfaithful again, just please don't hurt me..." He begs. This is the part I enjoyed the most. The begging and the offering of money. I don't need money. I don't need anything this man is offering me. But best of all, I enjoy the empty promises for his life. I am god in this game and he is no one. I am the Queen and he is the pawn in my game.
