The next day i saw Bella sitting next to lucas at lunch.
Maya tagged along "what?" She was obviously disappointed but i was just...confused
"So uh when is our next date?"
"Never bella, i told you i-"
I sat down next to bella "Um Hi?" I offered
Maya sat next. Bella glared at Lucas and walked away
"What the heck was that?" I asked
Lucas wouldn't meet my eyes. "She thinks we'll go on another date."
Maya looked him in the eyes and turned to me "any new letters?"
"Nope"
"I got one" Maya exclaimed "it says that if we want to stay safe we have to go to the dance on friday."
She showed us the paper. Farkle walked over
"Hey guys. Oh another letter?"
I nodded "but theres no dance on friday... Is there?" Maya turned to the doors in the cafeteria
"The black and white ball." Maya crumpled up the paper and threw it in the garbage
"Guess were going then." I said reluctantly
Lucas stared and looked at Maya
What the heck is going on here?
"Ok whats up with you two?" I asked
Maya glared at him and turned to me "Riles nothings up its just that lucas-"
"What?"
Farkle sat practically enjoying all this.
"I cant tell." Maya said giving lucas a dirty look.
I rolled my eyes "fine" i said now standing up "if none of you guys want to tell me anything..just fine" i walked away and saw the posters for the dance
