December came so quickly that by christmas time i still wasnt in the spirit.
But thanks to maya i had a lot of nee christmas songs to chose from.
"Here" She said handing me an overly glittered box
"What is it?" I asked opening the present
I gasped with happiness when i saw the album cover.
"OH MY GOD THE BEATLES!!! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!" it was my favroite beatles album, help! She had gotten that and a bunch of other beatles records.
"And thankfully i have a record player" she said beaming
I tore open all the records. "Maya were going to your house after school" i said squealing
She smiled but it quickly turned into an excited grin
"Nope we got the black and white ball tonight."
I sighed "fine. But after we are sleeping over."
"My house?"
"definitely"

After school ended i rushed home, i got out of school at 3:00 i only had about an hour to get ready after eating.
"Mary Anne? What should i wear?"
She picked out a black dress with white flowers the sleeves were long and beautiful. The dress was fine linen.
"Marry Anne how did you-"
"Mommy bought it after she heard you had a dance. She forced me along to pick one. I thought you'd like this the most."
I beamed and hugged her "i love it"
My phone vibrated
So your going to the dance? Great you'll never forget it. Betrayed and hurt in one night sounds fun doesn't it?
Betrayed? Hurt? By who? Bella? Lucas? Farkle? Maya?
"Riley is there something wrong?" Mary Anne asked me her eyes wide
I shook my head "No.. I gotta eat" i dropped my phone and left.
5:00
Maya rushed over to me the second i came in she wore a white gown and a black choker with her hair straightened.
"Riles you look beautiful!" She exclaimed glancing to my side. She motioned for someone to come near.
Farkle ran over he wore a black tuxedo and pants "Riley you look great!" I beamed this was the only time i felt pretty. My whole life i felt unloved by my parents and no one was my friend but now i have them.
The door opened and in came Lucas.
He was dressed casual. Just a black shirt and jeans with a cowboy hat made specially just to irk me. Lucas was the opposite of Farkle.
"Hey" he tipped his hat
I rolled my eyes.
Twist and shout began to play. Mayas eyes widened
"Care to dance?" Farkle asked Maya who was still drinking punch
"Heck yeah lets go!" She set down her punch and pulled farkle to the dance floor.
"Uh Riley can i talk to you for a second?" Lucas asked.
My eyes were fixed on Maya busting a move i turned to him shocked
"Oh uh, yeah sure"
