One Accident

"This, your highness, is a... TIME MACHINE" she said, raising both her hands in the air and putting them down immediately.

"Uhm wow" I replied, a bit weirded at first but what she said made me interested. "That's uhh something to be happy of but as I can see it, it looks like a plain watch. Uhm how does it work and what does it do? Can you go back in time or you can see the future?"

"Uhm...." she scratched her head. "...is that how a time machine works?" she asked back.

I was a little surprised by her answer but still remained calm. "Well as far as my readings, most of the time, time machines are made to go back to your past or go straight to the future. Unless, you have a different explanation" I answered.

" Ahh hehe. Sorry but the truth is, I don't have any idea about any scientific principles and also about time machines. Hehe " she said in a cheerful way and gave me a 'peace' sign.

"Oh... I see. So uhm if that's the thing, why did you make a watch and claim it that it's a time machine?" I asked.

She smiled before answering.

"Since you mentioned that time machine is about the past or the future, time machine for me is about the present that is why I made a watch... because every second that the second hand moves, something is already happening and when it finishes one round, a memory is made. Imagine for how many times the second hand finishes a round, so that means a lot of memories are made. So for me a time machine is the watch itself because it is a machine of time and time is where you store all the memories you made" she answered...

...that shocked me... and I don't know why but... it made my heart skip a beat.

"PRINCE ZOLTAR!" she shouted.

I was surprised when somebody called my name and turned around to where it came from and saw her smiling so happily at me.

"THANK YOU!" she shouted in order for me to hear it and gave me a thumbs-up.

I didn't notice that I smiled back to her. That time, I felt my heart was pounding hard... like it was so happy with that small gesture.

"So Yani, uhm can I know the name of the water girl in your team that played in the electric challenge a while ago?"

Yani was shocked at my question and looked at Elesa first. They were staring at each other that made me wonder.

"What's wrong with you two?" I asked.

Elesa suddenly said, "Prince Zoltar I like—"

"Her name is Femme" but Yani butted in that made me surprised but not long enough when I was able to process what Yani said.

"Oh Femme" I said between my thoughts.

Knowing her name, somehow made me involuntarily smile.

"Her name is Femme...nice name"

I opened my eyes while sitting inside my cylindrical tube bed. A dream but they are based on true events of this year's Electric Challenge. The very first girl that made me smile and feel a different way. Even I can't explain what that feeling is and why of all the things happening to me, why her, a water girl?

Ignoring about it and thinking about my priorities, I quickly went out of the tube and changed my clothes. After that, I went to my office, sat on my chair and turned on my laptop. I browse the internet and tried to look for a new experiment to deal with.
