It doesn't take me long to walk there.
Once I get there, Sebastian shouts,"Sup Av..."
I walk completely up to them and sit down at the table,"Nothing much." I respond.
"Woah... Avery, are you okay?" Nova says.
"I'm fine." I answer.
"You sure? You look like you were crying..." Connor adds.
I freeze for a few seconds remember the break in, and me missing my mom,"I'm fine." I lie, as more tears form.
"Ohhhh..... Avery, what's wrong sweetheart?" Joy asks.
"A lot of things." I finally say.
"I understand if you don't want to talk about it with because we just met, but talk about it with your mom. Moms are always good listeners." Nova says.
I look up at them,"My mom died."
