I never realized how long I had with my mom. At least till she died. It was only a few months ago when it happened.

The day of my fifteenth birthday, my mother was driving me to my surprise.

"You excited?" She asked.

"Of course."

My mom glanced at me saying,"Well, maybe after thi-" But she didn't look away fast enough.

We were spinning in mid air. Another car had rammed into us. It all seemed like it was in slow motion. By the time the car stopped. I saw glass. Glass was everywhere. And we were upside down, with my head to the ground. I didn't know what to do. My vision started to fade, but last I saw was mom; her face laying on the shattered glass.
