The next day at school, Connor didn't talk to me. He didn't he look at me. I could tell there was something bothering him bad. I just wish I knew, so I could help him feel better. I know it's crazy, we've been friends for a short amount of time, but it kills me to see someone in pain, especially someone I care about. Even in biology he acted like I was invisible.

"Connor, what's going on? You know you can trust me with anything right?" I say hoping he'd give in, and explain everything.

"We've only known each other for a day now, stop asking." He demanded.

After that I left him alone about it. I didn't want to make him feel uncomfortable and make him feel like he needs to tell, because truly he doesn't. I just want to be a good friend and help him out.

When lunch time came around I sat with Joy, Nova, and Sebastian.

"Hey where's Connor?" I asked them.

They all just looked at each other with look on their faces, it's so indescribable. Then Nova answered softly,"He got earlier released from school today."

"Ohhh no why?" I ask.

"Reasons."

"Reasons?"

"Family reasons." They answer.
