Chapter 2 - "Need a ride?"

Thank fuck that depressing day was over! I literally sprinted out of my Chemisty class to get to Mollie for my lift home.

"I'll see you tomorrow" I smiled to Sarah

"No funny business with that Cole" She spoke raising her eyebrows at me

Why with just Cole?

I laughed and made my way out of school and into the carpark. Brilliant, from a distance I could already see Mollie was stood with Jay and a group of boys, who I can already guess will be Tyler, Cole and Loghan. Just what I need.

"Hey Frizzhead" Cole smiled

"What did I say!" I whined

There was no getting through to this guy!

"Oooh you and freckleface had a cheeky conversation outside the classroom ey?" Loghan smirked while nudging Cole

"I told you I'd have a better chance man!" Cole smirked and winked in my direction

"Remember, I'd rather sit on a knife, now I'd love to keep talking to you guys I really would. But I think I'd rather sit in the car and wait for Mollie and Jay to stop eating each other" I smiled sarcastically while walking over to the car

"To pass time, me and you could do that, you know, if you like" Cole winked

Was this guy flirting with me? No, Summer. He's just doing it to piss you off. Which he is suceeding in.

"Over my dead body" I muttered while getting into the car.

"Remember, Princess. All of this can be arranged" He whispered

And with that I slammed the car shut and turned up the radio on full which suddenly caught Mollie's attention as she shot me her 'What the fuck are you playing at' look. I laughed to myself and raised my hands up as if to say sorry. Which I wasn't, cause I really wanted to go home and sleep right now however I had work. I even noticed Cole laugh at my little trick, which I was kinda pleased with.

No, Summer what are you doing.

"Just couldn't share me could ya?" Mollie smiled while getting into the car

"Oh you know me too well" I laughed

She laughed aswell, she waved at Jay as we pulled out and Cole waved sarcastically to me, I began a wave but quickly changed it into my middle finger being stuck up at him, which caused him to laugh even more.

"You and Cole seem to be...doing a lot of flirting" Mollie smirked while keeping her eyes locked on the road

"You're joking? Right?" I begged

"He's never been like that with a girl, it's normally just 'yo, lemme get in yo pants bitch'" She impersonated

I let out a roar of laughter, since when did Cole say 'Yo'? And why am I going on as if I know the guy inside out?

"Good impression, but we are most definitley not flirting. Not now, not ever" I stated

"Alright Summer, whatever you say" She smiled

I could not be bothered with this argument with her, I was too tired for all of this.

"Wake up, you're home!" Summer shouted

How the heck did I manage to fall asleep that quick? It was only about a 10 minute ride!

"Oh, home sweet home" I smiled sarcastically

She smiled at me with sympathy in her eyes. Mollie, Sarah and Rhea are the only people to know about my Mom, I don't really like the pity I get off people, I don't need it, I'm doing fine on my own.
