Chapter 16 - "Come on little legs!"

We decided to go my house, I had told Cole about how my Mom had a fresh start and he was also up for meeting her, I wasn't sure about this but Cole definitley was, since he wouldn't take no for an answer. I don't get it, are we like, dating now? Since we both know we like each other, and now he wants to meet my Mom? This all seems to be going abit fast, but hey, I'm not complaining.

"Hey Mom, I'm home" I smiled

"School doesn't end for another 20 minutes?" She asked

Oh shit.

"Fire drill ma'am, we all got sent home" Cole smiled

"Oh I see, and who might you be young man?" She smiled at Cole

"I'm Cole Chapman, Miss Morris" He smiled

It even looked like he had got my Mom. Wow this guy can just get any girl he wants with his charms can't he?

"Oh don't call me that. Call me Marie" She smiled

"Nice to meet you, Marie" He grinned

Oh my god that smile.

"Nice to meet you too Cole. So what are you both up too?" She asked

"Oh we're just doing a project" I smiled

No we are definitley not, I worked my butt off the other night on our History one and finished it all, Cole had done half an emailed it over to me, so atleast I didn't do all of it.

"Alright, oh and I've packed abit more extra in your suitcase doll, and there's some money on the fireplace for you to change over for tomorrow, but I'm just about to nip out, work want me for a business meeting tomorrow so I have to stay in a hotel not far from here tonight, will you be alright?"

I hated being in the house by myself.

"Thank you, Mom. And yeah, I'll be fine" I smiled

"Good, if anything at all is wrong, call me, got it?" She asked

I nodded and she smiled back and me and Cole went straight up to my room. He dived onto my bed and I followed.

"Wow your Mom really has changed" He laughed

It was so strange that just a few days ago she'd be so drunk but now she was throwing money at me and going to business meetings?

"I know, it's so weird" I laughed

"It's good though, atleast no one will hurt you again, because I could of fucking killed that guy" He spoke suddenly his tone had changed from happy to angry

He really did care about me didn't he?

I smiled while turning over to him and leaning on his chest, his arm wrapped around me keeping me close to him.

"Hey, what time do you go Australia tomorrow?" He asked

"My flight is at 2pm"

"That sucks" He sighed

"It's only a week" I smiled while facing him

"Yeah but we've only just starting dating now you're leaving for a week" He explained while pretending to cry

"We're dating?" I smirked

He immediatley started to blush and wouldn't look at me, oh my god he was so cute.

"I mean, erm, yeah, if you know, you want too" He nervously spoke while scratching his neck

"I'd love too" I grinned

Okay I think I just done the creepiest smile in the world.

"Good" He smiled while pecking me on the lips

"And I'm staying here tonight" He announced

"You what?" I quickly responded

If this is he only reason he started dating me, so he could get in my pants I'm going to fucking-

"Summer I'm not going to see you for a week, I need to spend all the time I can with you!" He laughed

There was no way my Mom was going to let this happen. No way on this earth.

"1 sec" I smiled while I sprinted downstairs

Please still be here Mom.

"Oh Summer, you scared me, what's the matter?" She asked

I backed her up into the kitchen so Cole couldn't hear my pleads

"Mom please can Cole stay the night?" I smiled

Her face instantly dropped.

"Excuse me?" She responded

"Please Mom, I don't want to be left on my own, and I'm leaving tomorrow so he won't see me for a week, please Mom!" I begged

"Summer Morris I am not happy about this one bit, young lady!" She shrieked while raising an eyebow

"I know I'm so sorry Mom but nothing will happen, you can trust me!" I reassured

"You text me every hour. You both stay in different rooms, I'll be back by 12pm. Okay?" She sternly instructed

Why is everything going right in my life for once?

"I love you!" I smiled while kissing her on the cheek before sprinting upstairs

I dived onto my bed where Cole was nearly asleep, but not for any longer.

"Summer I was nearly asleeeeeep" He whined

"You can stay" I smiled

"I know, I was gonna' stay even if I wasn't aloud" He smiled back

"Shut up" I laughed while punching his arm

Quickly he stood up and grabbed me while throwing me over his shoulder since he knew how much I hated it.

"Cole put me down!" I screamed

He was laughing too much so had to put me down. Why does he enjoy torturing me?

"Okay okay Frizzy. Now, we have to go back to mine to get some stuff, okay?" He smiled

"Let's gooo" I sang while grabbing my bag

"Mom we're going Cole's to get some stuff, will you be gone when I get back?" I asked

"Most probably sweetie. Now, remember what I said, don't you kids get up to anything. Have a fun night and I'll be back to see you both off" She smiled

Her face quickly changed and so did Cole's.

"See us both off?" I questioned

Huh?

"Sorry dol, I meant you. Now got to go, see you tomorrow" She smiled while kissing my cheek

"See you tomorrow, Marie" Cole smiled

"Bye Cole!" She grinned

We left the house and began our walk to Cole's, oh how I wish I had a car.

"Come on little legs!" Cole smiled

"Got anymore nicknames for me?"

"Hmm, give me time"
