Chapter 34 - "No, you. I love you Summer"

SUMMERS POV

I loved the way that I kept catching Cole staring at me tonight. And I loved even more the fact that he kept blushing.

And you know what?

I don't care. I don't care how long it takes for him to say I love you, I can see how much he loves me already without him having to say it. He can take forever to say it, because I know he does. I'm not going to let it ruin my night, because even though he hasn't said it, I know he does. And I hope he knows I do too.

His hand rests on my knee sending a unknown tingle through my body making me jerk, Cole must have felt it too because of the animal like look on his face. He started at me with eyes wide, no emotion.

"This night better hurry the fuck up because I can't control what's going on down there" He muttered while pointing to his pants and looking out the window

Redness over took my cheeks knowing I made him feel like this, but couldn't  help but slap him for being so rude infront of me, although I did like it.

He smirked at me, and it made him look ten times sexier since half of his face was shaded from the dark light coming in throughout the window. Damn this day had gone by fast.

"What happens when we go home, Cole?" I asked the question that had been burning in my brain for day nows.

I don't know why I was thinking it, but...this all just felt, too good to be true. It was only working this well since it was only me and him around.

So what about when we go home? When other people give in their opinions? It might break us.

"What do you mean?" He quickly asked turning all his attention on me

"I don't know, nevermind" I muttered shaking my head at the stupidity of the question

"No" He spoke while grabbing my hand

"Do you think I care what other people think Summer? You should know me better than that" He grinned

That stupid grin. Ugh. It makes me melt.

"True" I giggled

"I don't care what any dick says or thinks, you're mine, that's the way its gonna' be and its gonna' stay, got it?" He informed

"Yes Sir" I nodded

He laughed at me and planted a kiss on my cheek leaving me wanting more.

"We're here" The driver announced

I began to open my door but Cole reached over and pulled it shut immediatley, while shaking his head at me with his lips in a line. I raised an eyebrow at him as he got out the car.

My door quickly opened and he stood there with his hand out.

"You've never been treated very nicely have you Miss May?" He smirked arching his eyebrow

"Not until I met you, and I'm liking it very much Mr Chapman" I nodded with a grin while I took his hand and hopped out the car

"Well you've got it for the rest of your life" He winked

Rest of my life?

"I'll gladly take that offer" I laughed causing his grin to grow

The thought of me wanting to spend the rest of my life with him makes him this happy?

How did I ever doubt him.

He held his folded arm out for me to link, as I did and we both walked into the venue. Music played so loud you could hear it from the door and balloons were everywhere, obviously in the colour blue and white!
