Relinquish (2/1/13)

What can I do

to make it all up to you?

I left you to heartbroken

to die in the corner of my room.

I kept you begging for mercy,

tied to the remedies

that will never exist.

How can I make you forgive me?

Relinguished,

with no safe haven.

I won't be there anymore.

I betrayed you,

worse than anything.

I left you,

but I will never really leave you,

will I?

It's been so long,

you neither forgot nor forgave me

for my childish, devilish ways.

Dwelling everyday on

what we once had.

Watch it over and over again

as it slowly and painfully

disappeared into nothingness.

Relinguished,

just a side thought.

I don't love you anymore,

in fact I never did.

I played your fragile heart

and vulnerable mind and murdered

it with every hand I laid on you,

along with every thought I

pushed into your head.

You wouldn't have survived if I stayed.

You don't have to forgive me,

for I am paying a heavy duty price.

I'll never show any remorse,

because I enjoyed watching your misery.

I know you still think about me,

and think of the things I've done to you.

I know this,

I love watching you suffer.
