What's My Purpose? (complete but not final)

How do you love someone so broken?

Ready to give up,

With a worn wall crumbling to the floor.

Everything from me was stolen.

How did you love me for so long?

Oh I will miss you so much,

But I just simply don't belong.

You remember how small I

used to be.

I smiled and clinged to you

as you reached your hand down.

So many years sprinted by,

as so the heartbreaks crawled.

So many times I believed you

when you said you loved me,

but not now can my heart live and breathe.

One more arrow and I will lose it.

One more letter to carry in my pocket.

That one letter, a letter to you

about how sorry I am

for giving up on our love.

I want to let you know that

I still wear your ring and

I hope it gives you purpose.
