Rock-a-bye

My rock-a-bye baby

don't you cry.

Dry your tears and let me

treat you to my twisted lullaby.

Allow me to whisk around

the beaten yolks of your mind.

Let me give you my simple design

swimming through mine.

We suffer from low

self-esteem.

What we want to say or do

only exists in our dreams.

We want an ear, but no one

wants to listen, it seems.

Esteem is scarce in us

and it'll take a lot to redeem.

We think the same things,

you see.

You just have a lot less

experience than me.

Our lives crash and burn.

There's so much to learn.

My rock-a-bye crybaby,

lie and i'll let you be.

Lie, lie, lie your way out.

It's the only option, obviously.
