What We Do When We Think Of You(incomplete version)

Do you belong in the crowd?

Where the music is the loudest?

You got a finger pointing at me

but there's four more pointing back at you.

Is everyone on your side?

Is the grass really greener over there?

All your lonely victims are over here

in the corner watching you.

And I'm one of them.

All alone,

we will be dancing with ourselves.

In the corner,

you will see us talking to ourselves.

But at night,

in the mirror, we're looking at ourselves

and wondering why we're

letting you take us down.

Maybe someday we'll just stop and

get over ourselves.

The pain and heartbreak will fade

and we can enjoy ourselves.

But right now pain and heartbreak is

all we know,

so at night, we'll lie in bed

and cry to ourselves.

And we'll think about how

you once belonged to ourselves.
