Patsy led me back to the Cell and shut the door. Loki was coming groggily back to life, so she did it quickly. When she was done, I walked up to the glass and put my hand on it. "Patsy, will you do me a favor?"

"What is it, hon?" Her green eyes looked sad to leave me there.

"Can you send me my dad?"

"Your dad?" she asked, her brow furrowing.

"Yes. Tony," I said.

"Oh," she laughed. "For a second there I thought you knew about... Never mind. Of course I can bring you Mr. Stark. But I think he may be sleeping. It's like three in the morning."

"Then send him to me as soon as he wakes up," I said, dejected.

"Of course," Patsy replied. I turned around and walked over to Loki who was just opening his eyes. I pulled the dart from his forehead. "Hey, Pat-"

But she was gone. I hadn't heard her leave. I guess she was as quiet as a cat, too, making no noise when she moved. Loki was growing strong enough to sit up now. And talk. "What did they do to you, love?" he asked, his green eyes burning with anger. "I swear to Odin, if they hurt you in any way-"

"I'm fine," I said. "I even made a friend." I decided not to tell him about the tracker in my arm. "Her name's Patsy. She's from Asgard."

"Ah, Lady Patricia!" Loki said, smiling. "Thor sent her here after I fell. She's worked for SHIELD ever since. We used to play together when I was younger."

"Did she have claws then?"

"Oh, yes. She was born with them. Oh, you should have seen the fun we had playing hide and seek."

"I can imagine," I said, walking to Loki's side and sitting down next to him. "A silent predator versus a master of magic."

Loki nodded. "So what did they do to you?"

"Took some blood to run tests for alien pathogens. I'm fine."

"Good," said Loki, relaxing against the glass and closing his eyes. "Good."

"I wonder who's on camera duty tonight?" I asked. "I hope it's Fury."

"Why?" Loki asked, that familiar sparkle of mischief appearing in his eyes.

"I don't want him to hear us talking," I said simply.

"Oh," Loki replied. "Speaking of talk, how about I show you another memory or two."

"Of course," I replied. Loki put his hands on my face and there was a bright flash of light.

Kathryn's POV

I was now eight months in to my pregnancy. I rarely saw Loki during the day anymore. He was out pleading his cause to the people of the capital city. As of late, he had recruited enough people here to steal resources from the royal granaries and weapons vault and smuggle them to the rebels in the outlying villages. According to Hasira's latest letter, the Asgardian armies had brought only minimal supplies, as Odin had not expected simple serfs to be so well armed. According to Loki, Odin was furious. His armies were slain with ease as they grew hungrier and hungrier by the day. Some died of hunger, some died of thirst, and many, many, many Asgardians were killed by the fire from the weapons of the villagers who had been gaining weight and becoming strong as the Asgardian army grew weaker and weaker.
