Emery's pov
My mom came home today after a couple of weeks of not really getting to see her because of her job. Right now we are out shopping for dad , alice and the rest of the family for Christmas. I got mom a necklace with mine and Alice's birthstone on it, I got dad a new box of tools he's been wanting, Alice got a few new dolls and princess movies of what she wanted, right now im deciding on whether or not to get Cameron a gift. We haven't really talked much since the night of the Halloween party.
Since than we've exchanged a few 'heys" and 'hi's' but we've never really talked. I mean, I feel bad for him. I never really got to explain myself so he has no clue what happened. I decided on getting him something I just don't know what yet. I'm thinking maybe a few 'OBEY' shirts and a new watch.
5 hours later. 5:00
After several hours of shopping I got everyone their gifts and I got Cameron his 'OBEY' shirts and a watch. In total all the gifts were about $250.
I loaded all the gifts in moms car and went home. As soon as I got home I brought all the gifts I bought to my room and started wrapping. I wrapped moms, than dads, than Alices, than Cameron's. I decided I'd text cameron and see what he was doing tomorrow.
To: Cameron
Hey... I need to talk to you. Do you think we could meet up for lunch tomorrow about 12?
After about 30 or 45 minutes of waiting I finally got a text back.
From: Cameron
Uh, yeah sure. I really need to talk to you too. I'll pick you up about 12?
To: Cameron
Sure. See you than.
I sat my phone down and got under the covers of my bed. I turned Netflix on and fell asleep.
I woke up a few hours later and it was 10. Now how am I supposed to sleep. I took my phone out to see if Cameron wanted to meet now.
To: Cameron
Hey? Are you up? Do you wanna meet now or wait till tomorrow?
I got a response back right away.
From: Cameron
I'll be there in 10.
I got up and put my leggings and a hoodie on with my bearclaw boots. I grabbed his gift and waited for Cameron at the door. After a few minutes I saw headlights pull in the drive way and I walked out. He got out and came running at me. "I missed you so much!!" He said giving me a hug. "I missed you to. But, we need to talk." "We do." He said and opened my door for me. I got in and waited for him. "Where to?" He said "can we go to your house?" "Sure" and he pulled out of the drive way.
A few minutes later we pulled into the drive way of his house and we walked in. We went straight to his room. We both sat on his bed. "So I've been thinking. You really need to hear my side of the story. I'm really sorry for not talking to you. I know what I did was wrong and--" I was cut of by his lips on mine. I've missed these lips. I kissed back. I parted from the kiss and turned around. "You okay?" He said. "I have something for you." And I turned around and handed him his gift.
"Awe, you didn't have to get me anything" "but I did because I'm really sorry." "Its okay. I forgive you. But, I still need you to hear your side of the story." "You do. But that can wait. Just open your gift." He started to open his gift he saw the shirts I got him and the watch. "Thank you!!" He said getting up and coming over to me. He came and gave me a hug. "Your very welcome. I'm sorry about everything" "hey don't worry about it. Its okay."
