Emery's POV
By now we had already gotten Alice and we were on our way to the ice cream parlor.
"Em, I want chocolate chip ice cream please!!!" Alice basically pleaded in mine and Cameron's ears.
"Okay okay. Just wait a second. We aren't even at the front of the line yet!!" I said slightly laughing at the end.
"Ughhhh, okayyyyy!!!" She said holding out the endings of each word.
After about 5 minutes or so we were 2nd in line. You know for this thing to be so little it sure is busy.
We finally got to order.
"can I have a banana split please." I quickly said than Alice said "can I please have chocolate chip." Than Cameron.. "Can I have just regular chocolate please."
The cashier quickly ran up the total. "Your total is 10.56 thank you and have a great day."
We quickly paid and grabbed our ice cream and went to sit down.
"So did you have fun with your aunt?" Cameron asked Alice.
"Yes!! We went ice skating, we went to the movies, and we went to the beach." She said with nothing but excitement in her voice.
"That's sounds like a lot of fun. Y'all were busy." I butted in before Cameron could say anything.
"Heyyy!!! You cut me off!!!" Cameron whined in my ear.
"Yeah. So?" I responded sticking my tounge out at him.
"Haha" Alice said in Cameron's face.
2hours later
After we were done with our ice cream I found us going to the boardwalk.
"Where are we going!?!?" Alice kept screaming in our ears.
"Its none of your business!!!" Cameron kept saying back at her sticking his tounge out.
"Can y'all be quiet y'all are giving me a headache!!" I screamed at them but than I couldn't help but laugh.
"Fine fine. Sorry mom" they both said at the same time.
"Ha ha. So funny" right as I said that we pulled into the parking lot of the boardwalk. I parked and we all got out.
"Were going to the pier!?" Alice yelled at us.
"Yes haha."
We walked up to the booth and bought our wristbands and headed towards the rides.
The first ride I saw was the dungeon drop(Idk if that's what y'all call it but that's what I call it). Cameron and I love that ride but I don't know about Alice.
"Alice, have you ever rode that ride?" I asked pointing in the direction if it.
"Yeah, I have a couple times. Can we ride it?"
"Yeah sure!!!" Cameron and I said in unison.
We all darted off towards the line and waited. When it was our turn we showed our wristbands and got in the seat of the ride. We put the straps and metal cushion thing over us and locked it in place.
*After rides*
We rode so many rides and now were on our way home.
"Cameron, are you going home or staying with me?"
"Do you mind if I stay with you?"
"Nope!! Do we need to stop and get you clothes?"
"I guess."
We pulled up in Cameron's driveway and he quickly ran into his house and got his clothes. Next thing I knew he was running out of the house locking it behind him with a bag of clothes in his hand. He opened the door and hopped back in the passenger seat.
"All ready!!" He said with the biggest smirk ever.
Oh no. What am I getting myself into?
3 hours later. 12:56
Since Cameron's staying the night we really had no clue what to do so the only thing we've really done was eat food and watch movies. Which to me, is pretty damn good!! I mean. Who doesn't love food. Alice passed out in Cameron's arms as soon as we got home so she's already asleep.
"Cam, you ready for bed?" I quickly said to him running up the stairs.
"Yeah, be there in a sec."
As I reached the top of the stairs I heard his phone start ringing.
"Shit" he mumbled to himself but loud enough for me to hear.
"I can't right now. I will in the morning. Yes, 10 should be fine. Okay. Bye" was all I heard him say than he started walking up the stairs.
I quickly turned around and ran up the stairs. I went to my dresser and pulled out a big shirt and my spanks and quickly put then on before Cameron came in.
"Sorry it took so long" he said as he came into the room.
"No biggie. What happened?"
Here's when I can see if he lies or not its a test...
"Oh, um I couldn't find my phone. I found it though." He said proudly waving his hand around in the air with his phone in his hand.
"Oh really?" I asked him to see if he wanted to rephrase that one more time.
"Yeah?" He said in more of a question. I noticed he started looking down fiddling with his fingers...
"Okay" I said not really wanting to start an argument tonight...
"Let's just go to bed?" I said more of a question but still went with it.
"Okay" he said.
I already had my night clothes on so I walked over to my bed and got under the covers. Cameron quickly ran into the restroom and came out in boy shorts and no shirt. Showing his bare chest.
Which I can't deny. I was staring.
"You like what you see?" He said looking at me with a smirk growing on his face. I quickly looked away hiding my face under the covers so he didn't see me blushing.
"Oh please, don't get to full of yourself" I said but it sounded muffled with me being under the blanket.
Man, this boy. I swear he's got a spell on me. There's no way to stay mad at him. I still wanna know who that was on the phone though.
He ran up to the bed and plopped down. With my luck he landed right on top of me.
"Geez, thanks cam" I said sarcasticly pushing him off of me.
"Why are you so heavy!?!" I said but it came out as a whisper since I couldn't breathe with him on top of me.
"Get offffff!!!" I whined
Finally he got off of me and layed down next to me under the comforter. I turned to face the other direction of him and left a big gap between us.
I closed my eyes and slowly started to drift off when I felt him wrap his arms around my waist and pull me closer to him; closing the gap in between us. I could help but smile.
I felt so different in Cameron's arms I felt, safe.. That's a good word. Safe. There's really no other way to explain it. He just makes everything better. As I sat there thinking I couldn't help but smile even bigger. I felt my eyelids start to get heave and I quickly fell asleep in the arms of Cameron.
