2 days before Christmas Eve.
Emery's POV
I woke up in the same position I fell asleep in except Cameron wasn't here. I quickly looked over at the stand beside my bed and the clock read 9:37am. I guess he already left to go the wherever he was going.
I picked my phone up and texted him.
To: Cameron
Good morning ;) where'd you go?
I impatiently waited for a response. Right than I felt my phone vibrate.
From: Cameron
Good morning ;) I had something I had to do. I will be back soon.
To: Cameron
Geez, I wish you'd tell me these things.. Okay. See you soon.
I turned my phone off not wanting to deal with it anymore.
2 hours later
Cameron had just walked through the door and he came into the kitchen not looking too happy.
"What's wrong?" I carefully ask him not knowing if I should..
"I had to meet with a couple of my friends. Their names are Matt and Nash. They might come over later." He said he sounding happy but pissed off at the same time.
"Oh okay. Let me start cleaning. Do you wanna go wake Alice up for me please?"
"I'll go wake her up than I'll help you clean." He said simply.
"Okay, thank you"
I watched as he ran up the stairs towards Alice' room.
I started by cleaning in the kitchen. I washed the dishes in the sink, emptied the dish washer, cleaned the sink, oven, stove and swept and mopped.
I moved to the living room to see Cameron and Alice must have already cleaned it. I guess I'll go clean the bathrooms now. I walked in to the one downstairs in the hallway. I opened the door and walked in to see Cameron and Alice cleaning it already.
"Yall know y'all didn't need to help me clean right?" I said to them to see what they'd say but I kinda laughed.
"Yeah but their my friends so I need to help."
"Okay okay. Thank you cam.. Now, Alice, go clean your room and put all your dirty clothes in the hamper and I'll wash your clothes when I'm done if I have time. Okay?"
"Yes ma'am" she simply said and darted up towards her room.
"Thank you!!" I yelled back as she was running.
"I guess I will go clean the upstairs bathroom"
"If you want!!" He said giving me a slight smirk..
"Okay?" I said running up the stairs. The door was closed so I slightly opened it to make sure Alice wasn't in there.
I opened it and it was already clean.
"CAMERON!!" I yelled at him.
"Yes!?" He said but I could tell he had a smirk and was laughing his ass off down there.
"WHY ARE YOU CLEANING EVERYTHING!! I CAN DO IT!!" I said but couldn't help but run down the stairs laughing.
Once I reached the end of the stairs I heard a knock on the door.
"I'll get it!!" I said to Cameron.
I opened the door to see who I'm guessing is Nash and Matt but they were with two girls.
"You must be Emery.. We've heard so much about you!!" Matt said.
I put my hand out to shake his and Nash' hand but they quickly pulled me into a big hug.
"This," Matt said pointing to a girl next to him, "is Giselle." "Hi, pleased to meet you!! As you know I'm Emery!!" I said laughing towards the end. She had beautiful black wavy hair with brown/hazel eyes, kinda like Cameron's.
"And this is Genesis" Nash said pointing to the girl next to him. She had beautiful brown wavy hair with greenish/hazel eyes.
"Hi, nice to meet you" I said putting my hand out for her to shake it; her shaking my hand. "Hi nice to meet you too!!" She said. She had some type of an accent. I'm not quit sure what it is but I think its Latin.
"Come inside" I said opening the door wider so they can come in.
They all walked in and sat on the couch. In a matter of no time cameron and Alice were running down the stairs; Cameron chasing Alice.
"Way to make an entrance." Nash said laughing at Cameron.
"Thank you!! I try my best" he said slightly laughing.
Couple hours later
We all sat there talking and cutting up with each other. Nash and Matt seem really cool. Genesis, Giselle and I are all going to have a girl day tomorrow while the guys have a guys day out. So were all really pumped about it. Its almost 5 now so Nash and Matt decided it was time for them to leave.
As soon as they left I went into the kitchen to start cooking. I went to the pantry and grabbed some noodles and Alfredo sauce than I went to the freezer and grabbed some chicken.
"Are y'all up for some chicken Alfredo!?" I yelled through the house to make sure it was okay.
In a matter of no time I had Cameron and Alice running up to me screaming "yes." I couldn't help but let out a little chuckle.
I started cooking the food and in about 30 to 45 minutes it was done. I made Alice and Cameron their plates and set them at the table.
"Dinners done!!" They came running into the kitchen and sat down. I sat down and just played on my phone.
"Your not eating?" Cameron asked me with a little bit of worry in his tone.
"Uhm, no. I'm not hungry." I said hoping he doesn't ask anymore questions and just continues to eat.
"Emery, you need to eat. You haven't eaten all day." Cameron said placing his hand on my thigh and rubbing circles with his thumb.
"Okay.." I said feeling slightly defeated. I got up and walked to the kitchen. I grabbed a spoon and put very little on my plate and walked back.
"That's all!?" Cameron said to me with pleading eyes.
"I'm eating now shut it." I said giving him a death glare..
"Okay okay" he said raising his hands up in defense.
Once we were all done we decided to go to bed. Tomorrow we all had to wake up early. I had to take Alice to my aunt again while me and Cameron met with everyone else.
We all walked up to bed and I went strait to Alice's room with her. She always want me to tuck her in.
She quickly changed and got under the covers and I tucked her in. I kissed her forehead and shut the door while turning her light off.
I walked in the room and changed right there not really caring that Cameron was in the room.
"Stop staring" I said while quickly putting my clothes on and getting under the covers with Cameron following.
I flipped over to face him and I gently kissed him. "Goodnight Cameron"
"Goodnight Emery"
