Emery's POV
Dads home!! This can't get any better.
"Dad!! Do you wanna meet Cameron?" I asked him not sure of the answer.
"Who's Cameron?" He said giving me and my mom a glare.
"My boyfriend?" I said once again unsure.
"Well. Is he coming tonight? He better not hurt my baby girl."
"Yes he should be here any minute. And no. He's perfect dad!! Don't worry. I'll always be your baby girl!!" I said hugging him.
"I love you" he said hugging me back
"I love you to dad"
*ding dong*
"There's Cameron" I said getting up walking to the door.
"Welcome baby haha" I said kissing his cheek pulling in the kitchen where my parents were.
"Oh. So you must be this Cameron Emery just told me all about?" My dad said walking to Cameron to shake his hand.
"Yes sir. I'm Cameron nice to meet you!!" He said shaking his hand.
When my dad talked to him I felt Cameron tense up so I lightly squeezed his hand.
"Cameron!! Welcome!!" My mom said skipping the hand shake and going straight in for the hug ( my mom😂 true story bro).
I couldn't help but sit there and laugh at how surprised Cameron is. He cracks me up.
"Okay are y'all ready to go look at Christmas lights?" I asked grabbing my keys going towards the door.
"Yea sure. Give me a sec to put my shoes on" my mom said running towards the door to grab her shoes.
In a matter of no time she was running back to us with her shoes on ready to leave.
We all walked outside and got into my moms car instead of driving sperately. We went down orchard lane first mainly because that's where all the rich people live so it is really decorative down there.
"Man, this is beautiful" I said
"I know. Just wait until we come back tonight when its dark" my dad said.
"I can't wait!!!" I said clutching Cameron's hand in mine.
*2 hours later. 2pm*
We are now on our way home. We had a lot of fun and can't wait to go again tonight!
We are pulling into the drive way right now. There's another car in the driveway though.
"Who's here?" I said looking at Cameron, mom, and my dad.
"I have no clue" Cameron said.
"I don't know" mom said.
We all looked at dad and he had a scared look on his face.
"U-uhm. I don't know who it is." My dad said. My mom started opening the door and going to talk to unknown person. He looked to be about 19 or so.
I got out to see what was going on and I overheard them talking.
"Chase!! This is my family you can't be here right now!!"
"This is my family to!! These are my siblings!! So yes!! I will be here." The chase guy said to my mom.
"What is going on here? How is he related to us!?" I said popping back out from behind the side of the house.
"Emery!? Is that you!?" Chase said running up to give me a hug. "Oh I missed you!! You've gotten so big!!"
"Yeah yeah!! Quit the yapping!! Who are you!?" I said getting sassy with him.
"You don't remember me?" He said with a sad look on his face.
"No.... I'm sorry. Now... Who are you!?"
"I'm chase. I'm your brother.." He said looking down.
"Mom!? Do you have something to say!?" I practically whispered to her.
I can barely breathe because of this lump in my throat. I just take a big gulp.
"Can we go inside please?" She said ushering my dad and Cameron to come inside.
We all walked inside and Cameron sat on the couch next to me. He gripped my hand tightly and whispered in my ear.
"What's going on?"
"I don't even know yet.." I whispered right back.
"Explain. Now!!" I said to my parents.
"Well, you see. This is chase and yes he is your brother. He is 26. He left when he was 15 because he said he wanted to have space so we let him. We haven't seen him in a while so we are just as shocked to see as you are. When he left you were 5 or 6 so you don't fully remember him. We haven't seen him but maybe twice since he left. I'm sorry. I know I should've told you, you had a brother sooner but I didn't." She said glancing between me and chase.
"Shut it!! I don't need to hear this now!! Its Christmas and I just wanted to have a good Christmas with my so called family and my boyfriend!!" I said yelling and whispering towards the end.
*4 hours later 6pm*
Its now 6 and we are sitting in the kitchen fixing to enjoy our dinner. Me and Chase got to talking and now that we've gotten to know each other a little more I'm slowly starting to remember him. For the longest time now I've thought I was an only child but I guess not. I mean I've always wanted a brother sooooo. I guess this could work.
Right now we're all almost done eating so me and Cameron headed into the living room.
"Did you know about chase?" Cameron asked me pecking my forehead.
"No. Not at all" I said still shocked
"Oh. Well I don't know." He said.
"Huh?" I asked wanting him to say what he meant.
"Nothing" he said and walked off.
"Well that was weird." I said to myself.
I walked up into my room and grabbed mom, dad, and Cameron's gift. Alice is with a friend and should be coming home soon. I'll bring her gift down anyways.
I walked into the living room just as alice arrived and walked in.
"Cammy!!!" She screamed running and jumping in his arms.
"Hey alice. How are you? Merry Christmas!!" He said pecking her cheek.
"I'm good!! And merry Christmas to you to!!" She screamed.
She than ran and gave me a big hug.
"Hey baby girl!!" I said opening my arms for her.
"Hi!!!" She quickly said back
"Did you have fun with Samantha?" I asked curious as to what she was going to say.
"Yes!! Omg it was so much fun we went to SeaWorld than went and got our nails done!!" She screamed in my ear while showing me her nails.
"Ooh!! How pretty!!" I said kissing her forehead.
"Gifts everyone!?" Mom yelled running into the room.
"Yes!!" Everyone screamed and than ran into the living room
