Emery's POV
Christmas night still
7:45 pm
We all surrounded around the tree ready for gifts. We all got ours and we let alice go first.
She got her dolls and princess movie she wanted from me, a big stuffed animal from Cameron, clothes from mom and dad, than Chase got her barbie doll not knowing what she liked.
Next it was my turn. I got a beautiful charm bracelets from my mom and dad, chase got me a Starbucks gift card for $50. Man he knows me😂. Now I feel really bad not getting him anything. I'll probably go upstairs and get $75 and give him that. From alice I got a sister charm for my braclete.
"Here you go baby girl" cameron said handing me a black box with a bow on it.
I opened it and in it was a beautiful diamond ring!! I covered my mouth in shock.
"Before you say anything. No, I am not marrying you. That will be one day. But not today. I know we haven't been together real long but I want you to know that I will be here for you through everything. I know I've put you through a lot but every relationship goes through their ups and downs. I love you so much and I have no clue what my life would be like without you, but I don't wanna find out. I promise I will be here for you till the day I die!! I love you so much Emery!!" He said as he slipped the ring on my finger. By now I was full on sobbing.
"I love you so much Cameron!!" I said bringing him into a hug and pecking his lips that was my parents don't make a big fuss.
"Awe how cute!!" My mom said
"Yea" my dad said giving Cameron a 'go to hell' look.
"Okay cameron your turn." I said handing him his gift.
From me he got the drake CD. And from my parents he got OBEY shirts. Atleast not the same I already got him.
And for my parents my mom got the necklace with mine and Alice' birthstones. I feel bad I didn't put Chases. I'll add it in later.. Than from cameron she got a braclete. Than from my dad she got a beautiful diamond necklace/earring set. Than chase got her a couple shirts with a $50 gift card.
And as for my dad he got the tool kit from me. My mom got him a Henry 3030 gun. Chase got him a $100 bass pro shop gift card.
Geez, chase spent alotta money.
I quickly ran up to my room and grabbed $100 dollars from my savings and brought it down.
"I'm sorry I would've gotten you something if I would've known you were.coming but on all of our behalf here is $100. Go spend it on you!!" I said giving him the money while bringing him into a hug.
"No, no!! I can't accept this!!" He said trying to hand it back.
"Yes you can. Now take it" I said putting it in his shirt pocket and sitting back down.
*The next morning*
December 26, 2015
I wake up to the sun in my eyes. The same dull room I've had since we moved here. Its a cream colored wall full of my baby pictures all the way up to me now. Maybe I should paint it. I went to the bathroom and freshened up a bit before I asked my parents. I brushed my teeth, brushed my hair, washed my face, and changed my clothes.
I put my long wavy hair into a big bun on top of my hair with a braid around my head like a headband. I say I look pretty good today. I went to put makeup on but my face was pretty clear so I did simple; eyeliner and mascara.
I walked down stairs to ask my parents if I could paint my room.
"He mom, hey dad!!" I said walking up to kiss their cheeks.
"Hey sweetheart" my mom said.
"Good morning!" My dad said.
"So I was wondering... Can I go to the store and get stuff to paint my room?" I ask in sure of the answer.
"Sure. Here!!" My parents said while my dad handed me his card.
"Thank y'all so much!!"
"No more than 200$ young lady!!" My dad said pointing his finger like the parents they are.
"Yes sir!!" I said running upstairs to grab my phone and purse to put the credit card in. I grabbed my car keys off the desk by the dorr and walked out.
I got in the car and called to see if Giselle & Genesis wanted to come over.
They said yea so on my way home from the store I'll pick them up.
I arrived at the store. I parked and turned the car off, got out and locked it.
I walked into the store and straight to the paint section.
I grabbed paint brushed, tape, balloons, the container thingy to put the paint in and now off to the paint.
I grabbed black, neon pink, neon green, neon yellow, and than purple to mix in because why not?
I got to the cash register and rang it all up. It was $188.57. I'm glad my parents said 200. I thought laughing to myself as I swiped the card.
I carried all the stuff to my car. With the help of a worker there. And now I'm on my way to pick up Giselle and Genesis. I hope they wanna help paint.
I pulled into Giselle's driveway and waited for her to come out. Genesis stayed the night so their both here.
They both came out and got in the car.
"Y'all up for some painting?" I said looking at each of them.
"Sure. What are we painting?" Genesis asked.
"My room." I said keeping my eyes directly in front of me.
"Sounds fun." Giselle said.
Than I noticed Cameron was calling..
"Cameron. What?" I said not really in the mood. Today's a girls day.
"I am picking you up at 8 dress nice baby. See you later." He said and hung up.
"Well than. Looks like I have a date with Cameron at 8." I said laughing.
When we got to my house to paint I had to be extra careful to make sure I didn't get any on my stitches which I had bandaged up but still.. They were on my arm but I didn't want them getting infected.
