Chapter 8- Dreams and Visions

Destiny, Luna and Xreato went back to their homes and pretended that nothing had ever happened. You'd probably be thinking, 'Jealous can't be easily defeated' or maybe, 'This book is so short and the enemy is weak!' Well, guess what, you must have already know what's going on. Just don't say anything. DON'T SPOIL THE BOOK.

"Lol, that was quick, what should we do now?" asked Destiny, eating a bunch of chocolate bars. "Go home and rest, I guess. We should get some good rest," suggested Luna. The three nodded their heads and Xreato teleported them back to their houses.

That night, strange things started to happen. Destiny and Luna were sleeping peacefully while on the other hand, Xreato kept tossing and turning all night. It was a dream. A strange dream. A dark dream. Dreams of failure. Dreams of death. Dreams of sadness. This was a dream that seemed so real.

"This is it! We finally made it!"
"The temple of DESTRUCTION! Quick! Let's move!"
"Time to join all our bodies together!"

Without warning, they went inside the temple. It was dark and foggy. They decided to split up and hope that all three would meet each other in the end. But only one did. It had to risk it's life for the biggest. It would not only risk it's life for the biggest, but the others too. This was the ultimate decision. It shall decide something, and that would change the world completely.

"NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU," sighed Xreato loudly. She climbed out of her bed and poured herself some milk. "Should I tell Destiny and Luna?" Xreato whispered to herself. "Maybe later, after I have another AWFUL dream."

Xreato grabbed a slice of bread from a plastic wrap and spread some strawberry jam on it. She sank her teeth into it as she felt a strange presence nearby. Xreato quickly ate her small breakfast and looked outside with her sword and shuriken in hand. She followed her instincts and was taken inside an ice cave by her instincts.

Xreato headed into the cave with a torch and found an opening. When she took a peek outside, the presence grew stronger and Xreato knew that the presence was far away, yet so close. She walked on with this odd presence. The end of the cave was over the Southern Ocean to an isolated island filled with trees. Xreato explored the island.

THREE BORING HOURS LATER...

Something glowed in the shades of the trees. Xreato rushed towards it and found stones. There was something written on the trees: MAGIC STONES. Without thinking, Xreato picked up one of the stones and a vision appeared in her head. It was Jelous and three people crouching, not to do anything at all. She came back to reality after a while and looked and the stone she was carrying.

It stopped glowing. She put the stone back down and looked at the other stones. They were still glowing brightly as she scanned the sky for any danger that could approach her. Xreato picked up another glowing stone. Her vision of reality when blurry as the vision of the stones covered her. Oh god... she thought.

"So you're saying that these stones contain prophecies..." Luna  questioned, amazed by the thought of it. "Yes," Xreato replied simply, "I-I've seen something in the stone that frightens me..." she  murmured. Destiny scanned the area with a GPS and shook her head. "This place was never added to maps of Earth, we're travelling into the unknown..." Destiny rasped and got out a chicken pie from her bag. "Share?" she asked Luna and Xreato "Sure," they replied and sat down to eat.

Luna perked her ears, she was sensing someone watching them, or something. "Guys," she whispered "Don't move...", Xreato and Destiny froze. " Lu... What is it...?" Destiny said quietly "Wolves... Not just any ordinary wolf though... I'm picking up something evil..." Luna rasped, all of a sudden a wolf bounded out of the thicket snarling! 

"Gah!" Xreato said and grabbed her shuriken and aimed, but before she could strike it a few dozen more wolves bounded into the scene, Destiny grabbed her guns of ice and fire. Luna grabbed her swords from her sides and whispered, "Don't move... Only move when I give you a signal..." Xreato readied a shuriken at hand while Destiny loaded her gun with pellets while getting a spell ready.

"I'm going to look into the memories of that she-wolf," Luna said "How? Aren't I the one with telepathy?" Xreato asked. "Um, earth to Xreato? Luna may not have telepathy, but she is one with nature. Meaning, she has the power to control animals, make animals and well, help animals," Destiny  answered "Oh..." was all that Xreato said.

Luna closed her eyes and focused on the she wolf closest to her and in a flash she was in a cave, there were two wolves nuzzling each other. Mates, she thought and saw two wolf pups. All of a sudden the ground began to shake and tremble and soon a giant figure was towering over the family of wolves, the figure grabbed the wolf pups and dashed off, the wolf couple chased after the figure. But it was too late, the figure had disappeared.

Luna opened her eyes. "All these wolves are parents..." she rasped "They think we're the ones that took their pups," she said, sympathised. "We can't fight them. They're just doing what they think is right," she added.

"Grrr," growled the wolves. Destiny and Xreato were prepared for battle. The wolves charged towards them and jumped at great speed. "COME AND FIGHT US LIKE A MAN!" shouted Xreato. The wolves ignored her and went after Luna. She screamed softly and took a deep breath. The wolves pounced on her.

"I cannot save you," said Luna. The wolves looked at her. "But I can free you from your sorrow." The smell of nature and leaves surrounded the wolves as Luna glowed in a bright green and helped the wolves to slowly understand the truth and that they will help find their wolf pups. Slowly, the wolf calmed down and the evil presence around them was gone. Luna stopped glowing and fell to the ground.

"Luna!" screamed Destiny and Xreato. The wolves surrounded her as Destiny checked on Luna. "She's just unconscious. She used too much of her magic energy," explained Destiny. Xreato and the wolves signed in relief. A few of the wolves carried her onto Luna's bed and surrounded her, as they were protecting her.

Xreato's ears tingled. "I can still feel evil surrounding us," she said. "It is not from the wolves but something else.

Luna woke up, ready for  battle. "Lu, come on we gotta go," Destiny said grabbing her gun. "Ok," Luna groaned and got up from the bed, to see wolves staring at her. "Come on," Xreato said and got up and walked along the forest path. Luna and Destiny followed, Luna looked back to see the  wolves howling sadly at her departure. Luna cried sadly and dashed back to the pack and kissed the male wolf in front on the forehead and ran back to her friends.

"Heh, they really liked you, didn't they?" Xreato said mischievously. "I guess..." Luna said rubbing her temples. "By the way, what'd you do to the wolf smooched?" Destiny asked "Oh, a charm, so that whenever the pack needs help, I can go and help." Luna said wistfully.

"Okay guys, it's this way!" shouted Xreato. "Follow me!"
