"Am I right?" She repeated sternly, when no one replied her.
"Ye-yeah, Ms. Lu-Lucia. That's co-correct," I stuttered automatically, gaining shocked looks of her guards. Dimitri's shock was mixed with knowledge; knowledge that she used compulsion on the guardians in our night. But his expression shouted: spirit at night? What is she talking about?!
"Oh well, she must have used way too much. More than she can handle. Let her sleep it out now. I'll check her when she's up." And with that, Ms. Lucia left.
Again, one of the many reasons I like Ms. Lucia; she's very straightforward. She just wouldn't utter extra words than necessary.
I went out of the room, now relieved to know that Lissa's okay. Dimitri followed me out. Apparently, he must be having many questions now.
We sat on the same place we'd sit earlier. I waited for him to speak.
"What are you saying, Rose? I know she used compulsion when we were going out. But after sleep? That's not possible. When I checked on her, she was sleeping peacefully. No way she could have used spirit."
I sighed and turned to face Dimitri. Now that this was nothing serious, I had the liberty of explaining him in detail.
"She'd used spirit, comrade. We were talking after we slept."
"On phone?" He looked at me, amused. How can one use spirit on phone?
"Are you kidding? She was dream walking."
     "What wa--"
"It's one of the cool uses of spirit, which she learnt recently.…… from Adrian." And with that, I launched into my tale, telling everything from when he left me outside my room. After I finished, his face twisted into an expression I was not able to detect.
     "Ohh, I see."
I noticed how Dimitri's expression hardened whenever he heard Adrian's name, throughout the tale. Aahh! My comrade is jealous! How cute! And by the way, he actually looked cute when he was jealous. Who doesn't look cute when they are jealous?
Here I go again. Lack of concentration. Ugh. What the heck am I gonna do?
I smiled and looked at him, finding him frowning while looking at his phone. Something's wrong.
     "What happened?" I asked Dimitri.
"Should I tell Lord Ozera?" Dimitri answered me, unsure. Oh my goodness. I'd forgot Lissa had a boyfriend. Even if not telling Liss's important thing to Christian seemed tempting, it would not be fair if we didn't tell him.
"I think you should tell sparky about what happened to Lissa. You know he's very much concerned and worried about her, like we are. Maybe more," I encouraged. Duh. He loves her.
"Yeah, I think you're right. But I don't want Lord Ozera to be unnecessarily worried." He paused before adding hastily,"I know Vasilisa's every small thing is important for Lord Ozera, but telling him is unnecessary."
"I know it's unnecessary, but suppose say that I was unconscious and nobody told you about it. What would you think will happen when you'll get to know?"
Understanding brightened his face and he immediately picked up his phone and called Christian. Cool. He understood exactly what I said.
     "Hello, Lord Ozera."
"…………" Broken voice came through the phone, letting me to guess only the tone. And by the tone, Christian sounded angry. Happy sleep deprivation, sparky.
"You have to know something important. About Lissa."
"………...." Atleast the voice was less angry and more anxious.
     "She's unconscious."
     "…." Shocked silence.
     And then sparky hung up.
"He hung up as soon as I said unconscious." Dimitri smirked - he looked so so hot doing that - and continued,"He's madly in love with her. Maybe they should get married." He mused while I listened silently, shocked.
Did I heard right? Dimitri said marriage?!
A germ of an idea was forming in my mind, despite my shock.
"See this badass God, talking about marriage!" I said playfully.
He laughed, starting to say something, but stopped when he saw Gregory coming up to us, closing the door to Lissa's room silently.
"Wassup Greg?" I asked him, when he neared us.
"I just talked to doc. She came to check The Queen again."
     "What did she say?"
"Well, when she came to check The Queen, she again repeated that we would have to wait for The Queen to wake up. When she was leaving, The Queen's eyes fluttered open--"
"What the hell! Why didn't you come to tell me?" Irritation flooded through me. Greg's a fool.
"Well, The Queen said she wanted to rest and doc seconded her statement. Doc gave her sedatives and said that she is not gonna wake up for three hours at max. Said you all can rest for a while."
Relief flared through me, letting me forget my irritation with Gregory.
     "Thanks Greg."
He just nodded and went away, perhaps wary of my mood.
I saw a lean, tall figure in my peripheral vision and turned to the main entrance, watching Christian watching us angrily.
"Well, that's good news." Dimitri's happy voice floated through my ears. Apparently, he didn't saw sparky at the entrance.
"Dimitri, deal with sparky then." He stiffened and followed my gaze.
Christian was walking to us, slowly........ furiously.
God save us from his fire.
