Chapter 9

After talking to Beau and Jai for around 10 minutes after finishing my food. Beau got mobbed by fans but Jai didn’t because he put his face close to mine as he was about to kiss me to get away from them Jai pulled away quickly got off his seat grabbed my arm and we rushed outside.

“Casey… sorry for that I just didn’t want you to get all the hate if they saw who you were. You what they are all like and because you are now close to us boys. You may get hate. I’m sorry this always happens” Jai kept apologising.

“Jai, its fine I have grown up being hated on because I was different and that I like a lot of different things like skating and Pokémon but then girly stuff like painting my nails and doing my hair. Getting hated on because I am around you boys won’t affect me I’m a lot stronger than I look” I stared at the ground slightly getting teary.

“Casey? Don’t get upset. I actually really like that about you. I like how you like a lot of different things. I am like that too” Jai placed his hands around my cheek bones and playfully moved his thumb on my face.

“Holy shit your skin really is flawless… Urgh I had better go get Beau” Jai spoke slightly blushing.

Jai went back into Macca’s to get Beau. Jai and Beau came out 10 minutes later Im guessing they were stuck taking photos. I heard a fan say I was not good enough for Jai or something like that and that they should leave me and go back with them. I seriously hate being able to hear a lot of things. I heard Jai speak.. his voice was different than his usually is. It seemed as though he was getting angry. Jai stood up for me… a boy actually stood up for me.  

I was in tears all I could think about was how much I had been bullied in the past. I got up from leaning against the wall I grabbed my board wiped away my tears and started to walk away. Beau looked up at me saw me crying and leaving. He pushed through the crowd grabbing Jai and running after me.

“Casey? Casey Wait!” Beau yelled out to me.

“I have to go Beau. I’m sorry” I spoke softly back. Dropping my board on the ground and riding away.  

I reached in my pocket to grab my keys. But they weren’t there.. I slid against my door to my house. My phone started vibrating I reached it out and an unknown number was ringing. I declined the call and started to think. Should I be here in Melbourne I should I just go back to Sydney. Two shadows were walking past my house they ran over one picked me up and threw me over his shoulder.

“Casey you’re coming to our house we want to get to know you more. Why did you leave like that? What is wrong? Why were you crying? Btw Jai took your keys” Beau kept asking

“Beau! Just stop. I left like that because I miss my old life. I like it here and all but I miss it I miss my little 8 year old brother I miss my 18 year old sister I miss everything. And I heard what that fan was saying its true I am a loser compared to you boys the only thing I am kind of good at is photography and dancing. Nothing I do will be good enough to talk to you boys let alone get closer to you. And I figured Jai took my keys I felt him do it” I replied biting my lip to hold back tears from leaving my glassy eyes.

“Casey… You are perfect for us boys. We aren’t famous and stuck up. We may be getting well known and starting to get noticed by Jay Sean and Faydee and the likes of them famous people. But we will always be the 5 boys from Melbourne and nothing will change that. We don’t want the fame and photography you can stay up late at night with Luke and edit our videos. You can even be the camera person stop doubting yourself and thinking of us boys like that. We want the normal life and that is what we are going to do because we are normal” Beau spoke softly.
