Chapter 4

Once we all had walked down the stairs and got ourselves a few drinks the doorbell rang; it was the band... SKRILLEX the real Skrillex was playing at my party. Amanda and I both loved their music so we had organised for them to play for us. As a consequence of showing up early, Amanda decided to take around 100 photos with them so that she could make a scrapbook or decorate her room (I wasn’t sure which one she had said.)

The doorbell started to ring constantly as everyone had started to arrive. I couldn’t believe how many people actually turned up… I guess it was because famous people were here. I felt a vibration come from my bra so I grabbed my phone to see a text message from Levi reading.

‘Have a great night I decided I had better not show up because I don’t want your party to be awkward x’

Our whole group sends each other ‘x’ at the end of our texts so I didn’t take that differently because it’s what we usually do anyway. I had forgotten all about the kiss, like it had never even happened. He is one of my best friends, he better show up soon!

‘Levi James don’t be silly the kiss has been forgotten you are one of my best friends I expect you to be here in approximately 15 minutes x’

There was a loud knock on the door around 15 minutes after I sent that text to Levi. I opened the door to see Levi leaning against the door frame. “Heyy thank you for changing your mind,” I yelled because the music was very loud. “That’s okay I am glad I did. You look really good by the way,” he yelled back. I saw Jamie alone standing in the corner with a drink in his hand.

I made my way over to him to drag him onto the dance floor “Jamie, dance with me,” I said “Whatttt,” he yelled. I stood on my tippy toes so that I could say something in his ear “Dance with me?” I asked. “Yeah okay sure. You look really sexy, good job Caseyy K,” Jamie said in my ear. I grabbed his hand and led him to the dance floor. Jamie wasn’t the type of boy who could socialise with girls so Elise and I always tried to help him. “Jamie, don’t look now but you have an admirer,” I whispered to him.

As Jamie looked he saw this girl from school (her name was Mariah) staring at him with a smile on her face. He looked back at me, blushing ALOT. I grabbed Jamie’s hand and walked over to her. “Heyy, Mariah can you keep him company while I get a drink please?” I asked politely trying not to come across as setting them up but it was very obvious I was. “Umm… Yeah okay I guess…,” she replied reluctantly, becoming almost as shy as he was.

After hours of dancing and drinking I decided to take Jess and Kayla up to my spare room so that they could sleep to become sober again. They both had commitments for tomorrow and I didn’t want to be the reason they stuffed up. After I put Kayla and Jess to bed and made sure they were asleep I walked down stairs to see Jamie leaning against a wall with his hands on Mariah’s waist as she had her arms around his neck.

YESSSS THEY WERE KISSING!!! I am legend with hooking people up. I found Elise dancing with this guy named Wayne. I didn’t know him real well but they looked like they were having a good time. I then saw Amanda and Nathan kissing. Nathan and Amanda are very similar they were both very loud and crazy always full of energy. I texted Elise and Amanda saying

‘My spare rooms in the house are free ;) STAY OUT OF MY ROOM THOUGH!! xo’

After around 30 minutes of dancing the police came and knocked on the door, escorting everyone out safely. Amanda invited Nathan and Elise invited Wayne to stay a little bit longer. I saw Jamie saying goodbye to Mariah before I went after her, asking her to stay. She was happy to.

After a short while, because I was sleep deprived because of the previous night from dancing for a really long time, I decided to reluctantly go to bed. I woke up the next morning to see Amanda and Nathan cuddled up to each other I ran back to my room to grab my phone and take a pic. After I took the pic I ran to the other spare room to see Elise and Wayne sleeping Elise was wearing his shirt and pants and he was shirtless and had his arm around her. I took a pic and went to the kitchen too cook some breakfast.

But I saw Jamie and Mariah cuddled up with each other on the lounge she was lying on him and he had his arms wrapped around her it was really cute so I took the pic and made everyone some pancakes. I went to the spare room where Amanda and Nathan were and told them food is on the table. I then went to Elise and Wayne told them the same thing. I walked downstairs too wake Jamie and Mariah up but I guess Amanda already did.
