Alicia sighed as she picked through her torrijas. She was supposed to go shopping today, but Massie insisted that all of the girls come to her house to "sneak into Claire's house."

MASSIEKUR: got the plan. meet at estate at 6:30 to get more info!!! wear black!

"Sweetie, why aren't you eating your breakfast?" Nadia, Alicia's mother, asked. Alicia put down her fork.

"I'm just not that hungry, to be honest," Alicia answered, which was true.

"Well, we're going to the mall in twenty minutes so you better get ready," Nadia stated in her thick, Spanish accent.

"Oh, the mall. Why do you waste all my money at a mall?" Len, Alicia's dad, joked. Nadia laughed along with Len as Alicia stared at the high ceilings.

"Massie wants me to come to her house later tonight. Is that ok?" Alicia asked.

"Of course! I can pick out somethings that you might like," Nadia smiled.

"Thanks, Mom," Alicia chirped. At least she won't totally miss shopping.

"Len, we better get going. Chanel has a huge display," Nadia winked at Alicia. Alicia waited at the dining table until her parents left. The mansion was quiet. But Alicia wasn't surprised because it was always quiet. She didn't have any siblings either.

"Alicia, what time do you need to go to Massie's?" Joyce, Alicia's housekeeper, asked.

"By 6:30," Alicia replied. Joyce nodded and went back to the kitchen do finish the dishes. Alicia went back to her room and finished her homework, mainly because she had nothing else to do.

                **************************************************

Alicia closed the door of the limo and shuffled up Massie's driveway in her flats. It was 6:24 which was hopefully an acceptable time for Massie. Alicia glanced at the guesthouse. Only the front porch light was on. The rest of the house looked dark and lonely. Just like Claire, Alicia thought.

Alicia let herself in through the door on the side of the house. Massie and Kristen were on the couch eating caramel corn and crab cakes.

"Hey, hey!" Alicia shouted.

"Hey, Leesh!" Massie exclaimed. They all hugged real quick and sat back down on the leather couch.

"Dylan's on her way. She said she's at Starbucks getting us all lattes," Kristen explained.

"Good to know," Alicia stated. Her hair was in a high bun and she wore a black cashmere sweater and black leggings.

"Anyway, I have the perfect idea. We're gonna sneak into Claire's house, find Brent on her contacts, delete all the messages, and voila!" Massie chirped.

"What if Claire remembered his number or wrote it down somewhere?" Kristen asked.

"Then we'll have to search everywhere in her room," Massie assumed. Dylan burst through the doors carrying a tray of lattes and wearing all black, as Massie ordered.

"Hey, Dyl!" Massie, Alicia, and Kristen shouted. Dylan hugged all of them and flopped down on the couch.

"That Starbucks line was almost out the door," Dylan bellowed.

"Thanks anyway," Massie smiled and passed around the lattes. Massie stood up and faced all of the girls.

"Thank you for coming to this meeting. What we are about to do is matter of life or death. It's about survival. We leave no one behind," Massie declared. The Pretty Committee nodded along with her.
