Chapter 2: painful goodbyes

For nearly that while week I didn't tell anyone,I didnt want to put a damper on anyones moods.But today I had to tell people since it was my last day.
"Kayla,Kayla,Kayla,guess what happened",said maddy, my other bestfriend practically jumping up and down.
"What?",I asked.
"Tyler got suspended",she said.
"seriously,that's what you wanted to tell me",I said.
"He got in a fight".
"It's not like it's the first time,who with?",still not getting why she was telling me this.
"Miles".
"What is he okay?",I asked.
"He's got a black eye but apart from that he's fine",said maddy.
"Thank god".
Miles,matt and Kate were seniors,Olivia was a sophomore and Im a junior.
"Let's go to our lockers and get our stuff",maddy said.
Luckily our lockers were right next to each other.As we approached our lockers I noticed something.
"Where's jade?",I asked.
"Oh she's ditching school today said something about not being bothered to be around annoying teachers for 8 hours".
That did sound like jade,she was what you would call a delinquent/rebel,but I could hardly talk because I was what you would call a rebel too. She has green eyes and black hair with blonde at the bottom,she's really pretty and maddy has brown eyes and hair that flows down to her waist while mine flew down to my mid back.
"Maddy I have something to tell you",I said in a sad tone.
"What did you lose your virginity,please tell me you used a condom",she said with wide eyes.
Bypassers were staring at us.A few football jocks patted me on the back and said "well done evans" and were congratulating me .I'm pretty sure my face was 10 shades of red.
"What,hell no",I exclaimed.
I wonder where she got that from,then again she is crazy.
"Then what is it?",she asked suddenly anxious.
"I'm moving",I said.
"What! Am I on punk'd?",she asked and started looking around for hidden cameras.
"What! no your not on punk'd,what are you taking,cocaine?",I asked.
"What your being serious?",she asked.
"Of course I'm being serious".
"you cant leave. Didn't you tell your parents that you could stay at my house or jades house?",she asked.
"I did but they said they didn't want to leave me behind",I said.
"I cant believe your leaving",she cried out.
"Well call everyday and visit. Me jade and the whole gang will come visit you in ...........",she paused suddenly confused.
"Wait,where are you moving to?",she asked.
"Colorado",I replied.
"Weird,your moving from Seattle to colarado,what a weird change of scenery".
"Do we have cheerleading practice today?",I asked.
That's right I'm a cheerleader but the non-slut type.My sister and I are co-captains,like how miles and matt were captains of the football team.They're twins. My whole family was well known for sports and it was weird because everyone in my family has blue eyes and blonde hair. Kates hair was a darker shade of blonde like my brothers but she bleached it lighter.
Working with her was like my own personal hell.
"No,we don't".
Great because I don't feel like getting a headache from Kate today.
We sat down in our seats.we have English lit.Mr Henry walked to his desk.
"How many of you have heard of Romeo and Juliet ?",he asked.
No one put up their hand because no one could be bothered to answer.
"Okay then,Romeo and Juliet is a tragic love story,written by shakespeare about two people from different households,the montagues and the capulets who despised each other.The families ............",I zoned out afterwards and started texting on my iphone.The good thing about my dad working for apple is that we get unlimited apple gadgets.
"Hey Kayla",said Tyler.
Wait Tyler? I thought he was suspended. I pinched maddy to get her attention.
"Oww!".
People were staring our way. She was glaring at me.
"I thought you said Tyler was suspended".
" I don't know,apparently he got of with a warning",she said.
Just great now I have Tyler Bradshaw to ruin my day.
"What",I said turning around to look at him.
Tyler the bad boy of the school had all the girls wrapped around his finger.He has pitch black hair,sparkling blue eyes,chisled jaw with high cheekbones,tattooed biceps and a six pack that makes all the girls drool.
"We should hook up",he said.
"For the 275 time,no,and im leaving anyway so you don't get to annoy me anymore".
He's been trying get me to go out with him since sophomore year.
"Ouch,Kayla that really hurt",he said putting a hand over his heart faking hurt.
"Whatever",I said rolling my eyes.
"You Know I'm going to miss your amazing ass and face and pretty much everything else",he said.
"Shut the fuck up",I said angrily.
"Miss Evans either pay attention to my class or get out",mr Henry said.
"Fine I'll leave",I said standing up an getting my stuff.
"It's not like I want to stay in this boring ass class anyway",I said,giving him the middle finger.
"Miss Evans,detention",he said.
"Yeah,whatever it's not like I'll actually go to it",I said in a bored tone.
By now everyone was howling in laughter.This was my usual rotine,get detention and getting kicked out of class.
"I'll see you at lunch",I said to maddy and headed out the door.
