Chapter 5: New Girl
Kayla p.o.v
"Kayla, get your fat ass out of bed, we've got school today!", Miles shouted.
What a nice brother I have.Note the sarcasm?
"Alright,alright,I'm getting up", I said in a groggy voice.
I rolled around and Suddenly my face planted the floor.What a great way to start my day.
I got up from the floor and headed to the shower.Ten minutes later, I got out and took out a pair of high waisted denim shorts, and a crop top with a pair of red converses.I put on a few swipes of mascara. Once I finished, I got my bag and went downstairs.
"Morning everyone", I said.
"Morning", mom and dad replied.
"I bet you 20 bucks that I will hook up with more than 10 girls this week", Miles said with a smirk.
I shook my head, disgusted. Olivia seemed to be doing the same and Kate was just being Kate, caking her face with make up to the point she looks like a clown.
"Your on", Matt said, accepting the bet.
"You guys are so gross", Olivia said still shaking her head in disgust.
I was nodding in agreement.They just laughed.
"Mom, its my birthday next month so can I please get a dog, please I'm begging you, I won't get anymore detentions", Olivia pleaded.
"For the last time Olivia, your not getting a dog", mom said frustrated.
Translation: your not getting any sort of animal because it will most likely die the next day.
"But I promise to look after it".
Matt snorted.
"God, your like cursed to animals, once you touch the animal it dies the next day, I bet you would feed a dog chocolate".
Olivia glared at him.
"Dogs like chocolate", she said smug.
Matt burst out laughing.
"God, your even more stupid than I thought when it comes to animals, dogs don't eat choclate you pycho, its like a poison to them".He continued to laugh.
I was trying to hold back a laugh, I mean how could she not know that.
I got up and grabbed my bag.
"Do you wan't a ride to school?",I asked Olivia.
She gave Matt one last glare.
"Sure".
Matt, Miles, and Kate got up too.
"Bye mom,dad".
"Have a great first day".
"God, don't jinx us mom", Miles said aggitated.
She just laughed it off.
Olivia and I walked to my Range Rover and got in.I turned on the radio.Counting stars, by One republic started playing.
"Turn it up, I love this song", Olivia said excitedly.
We started belting out the lyrics.
"Seriously Kayla, you should defently go into the music buisness,you have an amazing voice".
