Anya, the main character, is a cameo for my good real life friend, who has unfortunately left Wattpad T_T also, this is the revised version of this book, so...yeah. Please, comment, vote, all that! And please comment where I have misspelled something or something that doesn't make sense. It helps a lot. Thanks again!

Prologue

Link was exhausted from his journey back to his little town of Ordon. The birds chirped happily around him, the early morning sun shone through the trees and onto his face, the wind blowing his golden blonde hair and his green hat back, carrying the scent of the forest to him, a faint smile spreading across his face. But on the inside, he felt...empty.

He had grown so used to traveling, to fighting and casting down monsters, to solving difficult puzzles, to just overall adventure, he had a hard time imagining going to back to his normal life on the ranch and in the town. He missed Zelda. He missed Midna and her snarky attitude. He missed being a wolf and talking to other animals, including his own horse. He missed being the one who held the Master Sword.

Link shook his head to clear his head of those thoughts. He focused on the hoofbeats of Epona and the sights and sounds of the forest around him, the familiar place where he grew up. Soon enough, he heard the chatter from the people in Ordon, and he urged Epona to go a bit faster, the brown and white horse tossing her mane and following his lead.

He soon passed Ordon Spring, then he trotted into the town he knew oh so well. People in the town stopped and turned, looking at him. He smiled at the friendly faces that greeted him.

"Link!" He turned his head, looking at the source of the voice. Colin, Beth, and Talo were running towards him happily, their smiles wide and their eyes bright. Link couldn't help but smile as well, dismounting Epona and kneeling down and opening his arms, the trio of children tackling him in a group hug. He laughed, falling back onto the ground.

"Link, you're back!" Beth exclaimed happily. Link chuckled in response.

"Yeah. Here I am," he said, looking upon the three children.

"About time you got here, Hero," Mayor Bo said playfully, walking up to him. Link looked up at the mayor, disentangling himself from the little ones and standing up to his full 5'8" height, brushing himself off and giving him a smile.

"We're all very proud of you, Link," Bo said. Link nodded, taking his hat off and running his hand through his messy dirty blonde hair.

"Thank you sir," the Hero said, dipping his head. Bo patted his on the shoulder roughly with a laugh.

"You will tell us everything, right?" Bo asked

"Of course, mayor Bo," Link said.

"Alright. You go get some rest, you look worn out," Bo said. Link nodded, agreeing. Link grabbed Epona's reins, then he gently began to lead her towards his little tree home. Beth, Colin, and Talo followed him, laughing and giggling and skipping along happily, the trio just being the kids they were. Link walked up the path and looked upon his home, smiling.

"...Link?" Colin asked, the Hero looking down at the young child.

"Yeah?" Link asked, walking Epona over next to his house, then back to Colin.

"Um...when are you gong to teach me how to ride Epona?" Colin asked. Link recalled when Colin asked him to teach him to ride Epona. It seemed like a lifetime ago that happened.
