Hello again! Lol this is more of a filler chapter for this book, but it was inspired by a song I was listening to called "Peasant's Promise" by Blackmore's Night. I don't really know why, but this is a chapter I've been waiting to write for the longest time. I'll put the song up there with the picture if you guys wanna listen to it. Please, do enjoy!
Also, I'm working on a separate fanfiction so if I do miss a day or two in publishing the chapters, please don't be mad at me XD I'll finish this one, then publish the next one with the same schedule as this one, okie? Okie :3

Three days had passed since Link and Anya first found Vaati passed out by the base of the Great Deku Tree. The medics had apparently found a mild poison in his blood from the arrow that he was shot with. This had everyone worried, but after three days and Vaati was looking much better. He had regained a lot of his color and his strength, and he was becoming quite antsy and ready to leave the infirmary he was trapped in.
Link was currently sitting outside of the infirmary, looking at the Ventus Emerald in his hands. He tilted it slightly, watching as the setting sun shone through it and bounced off the shiny surface of the green gem, giving the magic gem multiple hues of both green and red. He was entranced enough by it to not hear footsteps approaching him until the source of the noise was right next to him. The Bronze Hero looked up, doing a double take as Vaati stood next to him.
"Hey. They finally let you out huh?" Link said as he put the Dragon Stone back into his travel pouch.
"Yeah. Once they cured the poison I healed up pretty quick," the wind mage said with a shrug. He lifted his shirt slightly to show an almost healed wound with some sutures in it that would have to be removed later, though it would leave a pretty decent scar. Link noticed that he had back on his violet tunic, which had been cleaned out surprisingly well with not a hint of the blood that had been there before.
"That's great then. We're probably only going to stay until tomorrow, then we head out for the Gerudo Desert," Link said as he stood up.
"For the next Dragon Stone?" Vaati asked him.
"Yeah. Faron said that the Solum Amber is there," Link said. Vaati gave a hum in thought, before he turned his red gaze back to Link.
"I know where another one is besides that one. Across the Great Sea in the Tower of Spirits. That's where the Tonitrus Amethyst is, guarded by the TwinRova Sisters," Vaati said.
"Well that makes things just a bit easier then, and quicker. Would you mind going with Anya to the Arbiter's grounds while Volga and I head to the Tower of Spirits?" Link asked the wind mage.
"Sounds cool with me. So what do we do in the meantime?" Vaati asked as he took off his violet cap, using his sleeve to clean off the ruby on the front of it.
"I was thinking of heading to the tavern and get some rest there."
"Sounds good to me. But don't the taverns never let you in because you're too young?"
"I'm twenty! They can't possibly know that I'm too young. Besides, I can't drink anyway," Link huffed with a scowl. Vaati snickered as he readjusted his cap back on his head.
"And Anya?"
"I'm sure we could get her in somehow," Link said with a shrug before asking, "where is she anyway?"
"Last I saw she was exploring the town," Vaati said. He gave a small wave of his hand and a small keese like creature formed. It squeaked and fluttered in the air for a moment, before it flew off.
