I got really pissed off. I saw the damage indicators, and she really was down at half a heart. I quickly splashed her with a regeneration potion and told Eli, "Eli, get her out of here!"

"No, Mitchell! I'm not leaving you!"

    "Just go!"

Eli took Natalie and swam out of the boss room. I told Ethan, "Look's like it's just you and me, buddy!" Then, the Elder Guardian extended its spikes, knocking Ethan back quite a few blocks. "Okay, then I guess it's just me." I took out my enchanted iron sword, which had fire aspect, sharpness 5, thorns 3 (not very useful), knockback 5, unbreaking 3, and looting 3. I swung it at the Elder Guardian, but it did the normal amount of damage for an iron sword. And it didn't set the Elder Guardian on fire. Even underwater it should be setting it on fire for at least a second. And it wasn't getting knocked back. I figured Ethan would know what was going on. I threw a splash potion of healing on him and asked him, "Why aren't the enchants on my sword working?!"

"I don't know! It should be working!" he answered.

"Wait," I said, "this isn't just Minecraft anymore! It's real! So there has to be more to it inside the game!"

I thought about it for a bit. Then I had it. I held my sword up, both hands, behind my shoulders as high as I could. Enchanted weapons on the other side of the screen would have to glow to tell you it's enchanted. I heard a hum. I looked at my sword, seeing it start to glow a really bright purple. And the closer I got to the Elder Guardian, the brighter it got. I swam high up and let myself float down. I had my sword pointing at the Elder Guardian's head, just near where the eyes were. I jabbed the sword into the head, seeing the sword going through the mouth. It screeched so horrifically. I didn't care how much pain I was causing it. I was almost responsible of the death of Natalie both real, and virtual. I was using the sword as a way of hanging on to it. It tried to knock me off like a bull, swinging its head left and right, but I stayed on. I turned around, starting to sit on its back. It started to become like a bull fight. It was trying to get me off, but I wouldn't get off. My sword was keeping me on. I was constantly lowering my sword more and more.

"Just die already, you son of a bitch!" I lifted the sword up really high, letting it charge, and jabbed it into its skull again, doing a lot of damage. Ethan started throwing splash potions of harming at it. I saw on the damage indicators that its health was going down more and more. It started to swim up. The sword was staying lodged in its head. But the sword started to let gravity do the work, and it cut the Elder Guardian down the back, still holding its position through its body. The sword lost its grip, and the Elder Guardian hit the ceiling of the room above, the one that it came from. I swam up to its body, which was constantly trying to get away, and said, "This isn't going to stop us, Herobrine!" As I said that, I charged my sword and delivered the final blow to the Elder Guardian, killing it for good.

Sorry this chapter was so short, but I want to make the chapters with the boss battles just about the battles, or at least, mostly about the battles.
