We were cool now, we were all friends again. Yay! But we had to get back on track. In the real world, there was already only one-and-a-half days left. Of course, we already beat the first two bosses, so we just had the Ender Dragon left to deal with. But our time was limited. We only had four Ender Pearls, and we needed twelve! And preparing for the battle in terms of resources? Are you kidding me?! We don't have much time left, so we have to get the Ender Pearls, and get them fast! I got out of bed, and I geared up. I put on my enchanted diamond armor along with my black cloak (not something you could normally get in game). I got my enchanted diamond sword. But then I started to think about the combat update, everything that changed because of 1.9. I grabbed my old enchanted iron sword. Either way, both weapons looked awesome, since in this version of the game you could customize the look of swords. I went outside. It was night, so my black cloak worked perfectly. I put the diamond sword in my right hand, and the iron in my left. I was looking straight down at the ground, until I purposely looked at an Enderman straight in the eyes. As soon as I did that, all the Enderman imaginable started coming at me, glitching toward me. They were teleporting, in the most ferocious growl. When they all got close to me, they opened their mouths in a roar, to show their sharp scary teeth. "Bring it on," I told them, as if they could understand me. They roared some more. The one closest to me, the one right in front of my face, I killed by jabbing my sword into its throat through its mouth, and I sliced.
Watching the Enderman turn into a bunch of ones and zeros was the best feeling. It's too bad Herobrine trapped us in here, the Minecraft VR would have been awesome. The ones and zeros faded into nothingness, as I watched the other Endermen teleport toward me hostile and swift. To the Enderman closest to me, I swung my iron sword (in my left hand) at him, then my diamond sword (in my right). That Enderman died, with the cool process of becoming ones and zeros. An Enderman charged toward me, and I blocked it with my iron sword, damaging it a bit. I used my diamond sword to jab into the Enderman's gut and slice from down to up. It turned into ones and zeros, dying. Another Enderman charged me, this time behind me. I charged both my swords with energy, and the let them pull me toward the charging Enderman. It was like I turned around and swung my sword, letting the momentum carry me into midair. I sliced from the head down with my iron sword, then my diamond as I landed. I turned around, jabbing my two swords into an Enderman. It screeched. I turned around and sliced my iron sword at an Enderman's legs, making it screech. All I could hear were growls and roars and screeches. I turned around back at the other Enderman, and finished it off by jabbing my two swords into it one at a time. I turned back at the other Enderman (the one whose legs I sliced) and used my iron sword to slice at the head, then my diamond to slice at the chest. All the Endermen were pretty much dead, and I could see nothing but ones and zeros flooding my vision. When the codes stopped, I turned around. I saw Eli.
"Wow, man, you are really good at combat in this game," he complimented me.
"Thanks, Eli, but didn't you tell me I shouldn't risk my life like this?"
"Yeah, I did, but seeing you duel-wielding and killing loads of Endermen easily, I realized that you can hold your own."
"Thanks. But, you know, something weird is that duel-wielding isn't in this version of Minecraft."
"Really? How is that possible? You didn't even use the 1.9 snapshots?"
"No! I'm using 1.8.9. 'cause I didn't want the cool downs to interfere with killing Herobrine."
"That's weird," he agreed. "How can duel-wielding just randomly show up?"
Then, I saw something that scared the fuck out of me. A bunch of codes came together behind Eli's back, forming a figure in a black cloak. Underneath that, he looked like Steve, except he had eyes that glowed so much. You could barely make out the rest of him. It was Herobrine. And he was grabbing Eli's throat. Before he made contact with Eli, I was able to warn, "Eli, watch out! Behind you!" But Herobrine ended up putting his hand around my friend's throat. Eli was surprised. He had the weirdest look on his face. Herobrine, however, looked like he was getting down to business.
