Insomnia cafe

Marina's pov.

I woke up with headache again similar to the one the other day but this time in my own bed. I got up to close my blinds to shield myself from the sunlight that had sparwled across my bedroom furniture, and grabbed my phone.

"2 percent. Shit" I sighed irritated.

I reached for my charger and plugged it in with as much urgency one could have being hungover and having just woken up.

I noticed my screen flash a bit and I looked down, It was an unknown number but I read it anyway.

"Hey babe, it's Lana. Do you want to grab some coffee and  talk tracks, labels, and all that jazz ?"

Surprised I actually retained any knowledge of what happened last night, I was flattered that Lana even reached out to speak to me.

I texted back and arranged to meet her at insomnia cafe and got showered and dressed in some joggers and a sports bra. 

I  arrived at the small cafe  and took a quick look around to see if lana had gotten there yet. I spotted her in the far left corner with her eyes gazing at her phone screen. I tapped her on the shoulder and she jumped up,  greeting me with a smile. Damn she was stunning.  

Lana resettled in her seat and said " I'm so glad we got the chance to meet again, I had a blast last night."

" Me too, It's funny how we ran into each other like that, I usually stick to the same pubs but i was feeling adventurous" I replied  

" Oh yeah, totally it was actually perfect because it's walking distance from my hotel" 

" No way, I walked from my flat, what hotel are u staying at ?"

"It's called Nomads. It's the tiny place on the corner covered in ivy" Lana said, taking a sip from her cup. 

" ohhhh that place, yeah I pass it all the time. So what are your plans today?"

" Nothing set really, I had a conference call this morning and it turns out I have an extra few days to explore before I head to Italy." 

" Oh nice, well if your down id love to get your opinion on some of the new tracks i'm working on"

" id love to, that sounds great, maybe we can even work on something together"

"hell yeah, our fans would loose it" I said chuckling.
