"it's been a while. um... i just thought i'd tell you what's been going on.

im still in school, and ive been working on my memoir a lot actually. ive been talking to my therapist once or twice a month, and ive been taking my prescriptions.

im still sober, still off drugs. i haven't hurt myself.

oh, and i, um, im still with jason. god, he's amazing. he just... he makes me really happy.

but, how are you? are you still with her? i haven't seen either of you around lately, but i guess i do live in a different part of town now.

do you still live in your apartment? i pass it every now and then, and i think about knocking on your door, but i never do."
