- SEAN'S POINT OF VIEW -
My eyes slowly opened and I looked over to the nightstand seeing that my phone was lit up. I grabbed it and looked at the screen, and I had gotten a text from Katrina. My eyes lit up. I quickly unlocked my iPhone.
Hey babe. I was wondering if you want to go for a walk in the park?
I smiled. Sure love :) I'll come & pick you up
I jumped out of bed and went to take a shower. Once I was done, I quickly got dressed and stepped downstairs. I was home alone, my parents had gone on a business trip and won't be back till next week. I checked the time once more and saw that it was already quarter to ten.
Katrina should be ready by now. I walked out the door, making sure to lock it behind me. She didn't live too far, probably about 2 minutes away from my house. I began to walk over to her place.
It was a quiet but relaxing walk. The sun was out and a warm breeze would blow past me every once in awhile. There was only one word to explain the scenery...Beautiful.
I finally reached her house and I walked up to her doorstep and rang the doorbell. I shoved my hands into my pockets, waiting patiently for her to come out.
"One second!" I heard her yell. A couple minutes later, she stepped out. She was gorgeous.
"Hey babe." I said with a smile as I gave her a quick peck on the lips.
"Hi." She smiled back.
"Shall we go now?" I asked. She nodded and grabbed my hand, and the both of us walked over to the park.
- HALA'S POINT OF VIEW -
I woke up around 10, feeling a bit dizzy. I groaned and grabbed my head, slowly getting up and walking over to the window. I pushed aside the curtains, leaning my forehead against the glass, it was gorgeous outside. I pushed away from the glass and decided to go get some fresh air. I went to take a quick shower, hoping it would relax me a bit.
Once I was done I got into a nice summer dress. I dried my hair and curled it a little, I put on some light make up then grabbed my phone before heading downstairs.
"Hey mum." I greeted.
She turned around from her cooking and smiled. "Hi honey. Where you going?"
"Just for a walk, I need a little fresh air."
"Okay, make sure you have your phone with you."
I took my phone out and showed her that I had it. "Already ahead of you."
She chuckled. "Aren't you going to have breakfast before you go?"
"Nah, I'll have it when I come back." I said.
"Alright." She turned back to the stove.
I turned around and saw my dad sitting on the breakfast table, reading a newspaper and drinking his coffee. Typical. "Alright dad, I'm going now." I went over and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.
He smiled. He opened his mouth to say something but I cut him off. "Yes dad, I have my phone."
He chuckled. "Alright honey, have fun."
I smiled and walked out the door. I stepped down the doorstep and then stopped. I looked around, the sun was shining, and there was a nice warm breeze that would blow past me. It was breath taking. I decided to walk to the park.
*****
I was sitting on the park bench, with my eyes closed. But reopened them when I heard laughter near me. I looked up and couldn't believe who I saw. Sean and his girlfriend, Katrina. Shit. I couldn't let them see me, so I quickly got off the bench and started to walk away as fast as I could.
"HALA!" No no no.
I froze in my spot and turned around slowly. Sean was smiling and waving, while walking towards me.
"Hey." He greeted.
"Hi." I said, putting on a fake smile. I honestly didn't want to talk to him when his girlfriend was around.
"Whatcha doing here?" He asked.
"Oh just walking around in the park. What about you?" I shyly asked.
He smiled. "Same, oh by the way, I'd like you to meet Katrina..my girlfriend."
I looked over at her and saw that she was glaring at me. Doesn't surprise me. I gave yet another fake smile. "Hi, it's nice to meet you." I put my hand out for her to shake, but she never did.
She glared once again. "A pleasure." She said through her gritted teeth.
How does Sean not notice this at all? The bloody girl is giving me a murderous glare. I pulled my hand back awkwardly and smiled. Fake.
"Sean honey, can you go get some ice cream for me?" She asked in her annoyingly high pitched voice.
"Sure thing." He walked over to the ice cream parlour not too far from here.
Once Sean was out of sight, Katrina got up all in my face. "Look you little hag, stay away from Sean. He's MY boyfriend. So if you lay one damn finger on him, I will make your life a living hell!" Shit just got real.
I rolled my eyes. "You being here already made it a living hell." I mumbled to myself.
"What was that?" She fluttered her eye lashes.
I looked up. "Oh nothing."
Sean came back with the ice cream. "One for you ma' lady," he handed her, her ice cream. "One for me, and one for you Hala." He smiled and handed me an ice cream. I was kinda shocked that he had gotten me one. I looked at it. Strawberry, my favourite. I smiled, he remembered.
"Thank you." I thanked him. I looked over at Katrina and she was glaring at me. I smirked.
"Well I think I should be going now." I told them.
"Alright, I guess I'll talk to ya later." He smiled and waved, whilst Katrina was too busy glaring at me to say anything. Not that I wanted her to anyways.
*******
I was laying on my bed, listening to music. It was currently 8:30 PM.
What about love? What about our promises. Yes, I was listening to Austin Mahone, I was a huge fan.
I looked at my phone and saw that I had gotten a text. I grabbed the phone and saw that Sean texted me.
Hey, why was Katrina yelling at you earlier today? When I was getting the ice cream, I saw her shouting at you..
Oh no. I couldn't tell him what she said. Just because I hated that snobby little brat doesn't mean I would ruin their relationship like that. I thought for a moment. What do I tell him...? That's when an idea came to my mind.
Oh, she wasn't shouting at me. We were both..fangirling. Over Austin Mahone :p Smooth Hala, smooth.
Oh alright then.I sighed in relief. That was close. I heard my phone ding once again.
Hey do you wanna hang out with me at the mall tomorrow?
I smiled. He wanted to hang out again. Sure :) what time?
Hmm, how about I pick you up at noon?
I chuckled and texted back. Sounds good to me, see ya tomorrow :)
I smiled and put my phone back onto the nightstand. I was grinning like a mad person, but I frowned. I wish I was the girl he was in love with. I just wish I was his.
I layed back onto my soft pillow, feeling my eyes beginning to droop and that's when I drifted off to sleep.
