FOURTEEN

- HALA'S POINT OF VIEW -

*3 months later* (Sorry for the time skip)

Sean and I have been closer than ever. No, were not dating. Sadly. Anyways, I haven't heard from Katrina ever since that day she came to my front step. I'm glad that I didn't have to deal with her again and neither did Sean.

I was currently sitting in the living room on my laptop, trying to find a job. I was already thinking about working either at Starbucks or at the mall. Maybe Garage even.

Working there would probably be the best thing too, since Sean works in the Apple Store at the mall. I went to their website and just to my luck they were looking for people to hire. I smiled and clicked on 'Apply for job.' A bunch of the info came up and I frowned a little. The deadline was in 2 days. Honestly that wasn't enough time for me. I sighed. I better get started on it right away. I closed the website and opened up Microsoft word, beginning to write my résumé.

*******

I was so into typing my résumé, the sound of the doorbell scared the living shit out of me. I put my hand over my heart, and took a deep breath. I got up, walking over to the door and opened it. Sean was standing there with frappechinos and a small bag with cookies. Yum.

"Hi." He said, with a big grin on his face.

I giggled. "Hi, what's up with all this?"

"Oh you know, stopped my Starbucks and I just thought I might as well get you something."

I raised an eyebrow. "Oh, really?"

He sighed then smiled. "Nope, just wanted an excuse to come over here."

I laughed. "We'll that's too bad for you cause you're not coming in." I said.

His eyes grew big. "What? Why?!"

I rolled my eyes. "I'm just teasing, come on in." I stepped a side and let him in.

He playfully glared at me before walking in. I shut the door and followed him into the living room as he placed everything onto the living room table and took a seat on the couch in front of my laptop.

"How's the job hunting going so far?" He asked.

"Great actually. I'm almost done my résumé." I smiled.

"That's great. Where are you going to work?"

"Garage. At the mall."

His smile grew bigger. "REALLY?! THAT'S AMAZING!" He jumped to his feet and picked me up in a bone crushing hug  while he twirled me around.

I laughed as he set me back on my feet. "Wow, someone's excited."

He scratched the back of his neck, his cheeks going bright red. "Yeah...." Is he blushing? No, it couldn't be.

He sat back down onto the couch and I took a seat next to him. I grabbed my frappechino and began taking small sips from it. I felt eyes on me so I looked up, to find him staring at me.

I smirked. "Take a picture, it'll last longer." He snapped out of his trance and shook his head and chuckled.

"What?" I asked, with a smile.

He smiled. "Nothing. You're just cute that's all."

I felt my cheeks heat up, I probably look like a tomato right now. "Thanks."

"Awh you're blushing." He said, pinching my cheeks.

I smacked his hand a way. "Stop it." I put my face in my hands. I was blushing so much, this was really embarrassing. He took my hands away from my face, and tilted my chin up.

"Don't cover your face, you're beautiful." His bright blue eyes stared into my chocolate brown ones, and I instantly got lost in them. His eyes sparkled, they reminded me of the ocean. I saw him leaning in, then I felt myself leaning in too.

Our lips were inches apart. I felt his hot breath hitting my face and I just waited for something to interuppt us, but it never came.

The next thing I knew I felt his soft lips pressed onto mine. Fireworks. No, bombs exploded. It felt magical as our lips moved in sync. After a couple of minutes we pulled apart. I looked at him in the eyes then they grew big, realizing what we had just done. We kissed. I looked down and so did he.

"Uh, I think I should get going." He said, scratching the back of his neck.

I nodded slightly. "Yeah, I gotta finish my résumé anyways." I gave him an awkward smile. He stood up and walked over to the door before turning and giving me one last smile and walking out the door. I leaned back on the couch and sighed. Yes I had finally got to kiss Sean and it was amazing. But I didn't want it to be awkward like that.

I sighed and got up, grabbing the Starbucks and bringing it to the kitchen. I placed the things into the fridge and as soon as I closed the it, I heard a huge crash in the living room. I jumped. What the hell was that? I slowly peaked past the wall and saw that the window was broken with all of it's glass shattered on the floor.

I gasped and ran towards the window and looked out. No one was there. I backed up from the window and looked down, seeing a huge rock and a piece of paper stuck to it. I furrowed my eyebrows and grabbed the paper. I unfolded it and read it out loud.

"I know what you did..... -A." I read.

What the hell? Is this person trying to go all pretty little liars on me? I couldn't recognize the handwriting so I just rolled my eyes and threw it in onto the shelf. I cleaned up the glass and closed the curtain, since I had nothing else to cover the open window. I had to remind myself to call someone to fix that. I started walking upstairs, thinking it was just a prank.

But boy was I wrong.
