EIGHTEEN

- SEAN'S POINT OF VIEW -

l wrapped my arms around Hala tightly as she nuzzled her head into the crook of my neck. "Everything's going to be alright." I whispered, kissing the top her head, gently. I squeezed my eyes shut, millions of thoughts swarming my mind. Hala suddenly pulled away and looked straight up into my eyes.

"I just, I just don't want you to get involved in this craziness, I don't want you getting hurt."

I stared at her in shock then rolled my eyes. "You're kidding right? I would do anything to keep you safe! Who cares about me, you're the one who needs to be protected!"

"I care about you Sean! I don't know what the hell I would do if something were to happen to you!"

I sighed in frustration. "No matter what you say, I'm not going to listen. MY priority right now, is to keep you safe." She sighed and leaned up, giving me a peck on the lips.

"Then MY priority is to keep YOU safe." I chuckled and pulled her back into my arms.

"You should get back home now, or else your parents will kill me." She looked up at me and laughed.

"Alright let's go." I grabbed my keys and phone, and walked straight out the door along with Hala. We both climbed into the car and I drove off to her house.

Once I got back to my place, I ran up to my bedroom shutting and locking the door behind me. I grabbed my phone and angrily dialed in Katrina's number. After a couple of rings, she finally picked up.

"Hello?"

"Katrina?" I asked angrily.

"Sean? Hi babe." Her high pitched voice rang through my ears.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" I growled into the phone.

"W-what?"

"You know exactly what!"

She sighed. "I don't know what you're talking about."

I clenched my fist. "I heard you! You and Hala...I know you're threatening her! And I want you to STOP."

"Why should I? SHE TOOK YOU AWAY FROM ME!" She cried.

This time it was my turn to laugh. "No. I broke up with you cause you decided to be an ass and cheat on me. Unlike you, Hala makes me happy." Soon as I said that, the line went dead.

She hung up on me! I tried calling back but it went straight to voice mail. I groaned and threw my phone onto my bed, putting my head into my hands.

That's when an idea popped up, looking over at the time I saw that it was 11 PM. Maybe now wasn't the time, but tomorrow I was definitely paying Katrina a little visit.

- HALA'S POINT OF VIEW -

As soon as I got home, I ran up to my room and flopped myself on the bed. Holy crap I'm exhausted. I sat up and threw off my heels, rubbing the heels of my foot because of the pain. Note to self: Don't wear heels when you're going out on dates with Sean. I chuckled a little and got up to go and wash off my make up.

Once my face was smooth and clean, I slipped out of my dress and into my PJ's and looked over at the time. Seeing that it was pretty much 11 PM, I sighed and walked out onto my little balcony I had in my bedroom. I leaned against the railing and looked up at the moonlight, then to the bright twinkling stars. I'd always come out here if I had a long day, just to relax a bit. I suddenly yawned.
