TWELVE

- HALA'S POINT OF VIEW -

My eyes fluttered open. I checked the time, 7:25 AM. Crap! I'm gonna be late for school...not that it mattered though. I've graduated and I've gotten my report card. So being late won't affect anything. I got out of bed and went to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth, then hopped into the shower.

Once I was done, I quickly dried my hair, curling it lightly afterwards. I then put on some light make up, and threw on one of my summer dresses. I checked myself in the mirror one last time before grabbing my bag and phone. I walked downstairs, and smelt coffee. I walked into the kitchen and saw my sister making some eggs.

"Good morning." I greeted, while grabbing a glass of juice.

Emilee turned and smiled. "Morning."

I sat at the kitchen table, as Emilee brought over a plate of eggs and toast. I eyed the food then looked up at her.

"What did you do to it?" I asked, studying her face.

She raised her hands up in surrender. "Nothing I swear." She laughed.

"You sure? You never make breakfast for me..." I said, raising an eyebrow.

"Well mom & dad aren't home. And if you tried to cook, you'll probably burn down the house." She stated. She's got a point.

I laughed. "True." I finished up my breakfast, and placed my plate in the sink. I walked over to the door and grabbed my keys.

"Okay, I'll see ya later Em!"

"Byee!" I heard her yell from the kitchen.

I walked out the door, then locked it. I got inside my car and drove off to school.

*****

The whole school day, we hadn't done anything. All we did was hang out, and fool around. It was the end of the day. That dreadful day when you have to say goodbye to all your close friends. I began crying as I said goodbye to everyone.

But I think Danielle didn't take it too well. Yes she was crying when she said goodbye to everyone, she said goodbye to Nate giving him one last hug. But she broke down as soon as she saw him leave. I've never seen her cry this much before and it was heartbreaking. I pulled her into a hug and rubbed her back.

"It's gonna be alright." I said, trying to calm her down.

"I'm..never going to see...him again." She said, in between the sobs.

"You don't know that...You might bump into him in the future." I said. She continued crying.

"Hey, don't be sad because it's over....be happy because it happened." I said.

She pulled away and looked at me, wiping her tears away. "You're right..." She said, taking a deep breath. "Thank you."

I laughed. "No worries."

We both headed towards our cars, and got in. I sighed, and drove back home.

I sat on the kitchen counter, decided on what I should do today. My sister was at work. She works at Starbucks. So I was alone in this empty house. My phone started ringing next to me. I looked at the caller I.D and saw that it was Sean. I smiled and picked it up.

"Hey there." I said.

"Hey! Since you're done school, I was wondering what you wanted to do the rest of the day?" He asked.

"Stay away from you." I joked.

"WHAT?!?" He exclaimed. I laughed.

"I'm kidding! I just need a personal day to myself." I said with a smile. He sighed in relief.

"Awwh, but why?" He whined.

"I just wanted to get some shopping done. Since I didn't last time...." I said, mumbling the last part.

"Without me?! I'm a great influence when it comes to fashion." He said, jokingly.

"Oh yeah, okay." I said, sarcastically.

He gasped. "I don't need this." He said. I laughed.

"You're a great influence, I'm only teasing."

"Okay, okay." He said.

I laughed. "Well I should get going."

"Alright, bye." He said.

"Bye." I said, before hanging up.

I jumped off the counter and walked up to my room. I changed, throwing on some white shorts, and a simple loose tank top. I then put my hair up into a high ponytail and looked at myself in the mirror one more time, and I then was off to the mall.

*****

I was walking through the mall looking at the stores I was passing by. I had already gone to Garage, Bluenotes, Dynamite, and American Eagle. I only had a couple bags in my hands. I decided to go to Starbucks and grab a frappuccino. I walked to the food court and made my way to Starbucks. As soon as I opened the door, the smell of coffee hit me. I smiled, walking over to the cashier and ordering. I waited, then received my drink and left. I looked around me.

There was a childern's playground. I smiled. I really want kids, of course not now but eventually I will. I just want to be with one specific person in mind. But of course it won't happen. I seriously need a reality check. Sometimes I think fantasies are way better than reality.

- SEAN'S POINT OF VIEW -

Katrina and I were at my house watching a movie. The movie we were watching was 'Spring Breakers.' I did not like this movie at all. But Katrina wanted to watch it, so I let her. I had my arm wrapped around her shoulder, as she snuggled into my chest.

*BEEP*

"Popcorn's done." I said, about to stand up but Katrina stopped me.

"No, let me get it." She smiled. I smiled back and gave her a quick kiss. She got up and went into the kitchen. I leaned back and looked at the TV. This was not appealing at all. I then heard someone's phone vibrating. I sat up and realized it was Katrina's phone.

I looked at her phone screen and saw she got a text from, Tyler? Who the hell is Tyler? I grabbed her phone and unlocked it, going to her messages. I clicked on Tyler's name.

See you tonight babe ;) The text read.

I began reading the messages between him and her. They were all 'I love you' 'See ya babe' and all that kind of crap. She's cheating on me. I felt anger boiling up inside me. I stood up, I was furious.

Katrina walked in with the popcorn, not having a clue that I saw the text.

"Care to explain who Tyler is?" I asked, trying to stay calm.

She stopped in her tracks and looked at me. "What are you talking about babe?"

"Don't babe me! I've seen all the messages between him and you!" I yelled at her.

"Baby, it's not what it looks like!" She said, nervously.

"Oh really? Then what does it look like?!" I asked, wanting an answer.

"I....I...he..." She stuttered.

"Get out." I growled.

"What?" She asked.

"I said, get out!"

"But Sean-" She said, but I cut her off.

"Katrina, I said GET THE HELL OUT!" I yelled, pointing to the door.

She jumped, quickly grabbing her phone and running out of the house. I was breathing heavily. I was so angry right now. I grabbed a magazine, throwing it across the room and screamed. I sat down on the couch, putting my face into my hands. I needed someone right now.

I needed Hala.
