Kids will ask things, but then people won't give them a straight answer.
And I hate it.
Like, if a kid asks me why their goldfish isn't moving I'm not going to tell them some nice sugarfied version of 'it died'. Nope, I'm telling these tots how it is. I wouldn't be harsh.... but I'm not telling them it's just an extended sleep like so many people do...
And I'm NOT TELLING THEM THEIR HAMSTER RAN AWAY....

I really believed her too.... Maybe that's why this bothers me so much.... I just want them to be prepare, right? Like... I don't want them to figure it out the hard way later on...
