Okay... The world is a place that's ever changing, it never stops and new things are popping up every single day. We're trend setters. Inventors.
It's... unsettling. To me at least... I'm not really sure why. I love new things! I appreciate our tech and the advances we make. It's just sometimes I like to look back. Not to far, maybe 2005. And when I do things like that I see how far we've come. I don't realize it in day-to-day life. But when you look back it's a slap to the face. A cold cup of water thrown. Someone saying, "Wow, feels like it was just yesterday."
Now, if we can advance so far in a little over ten years, how far will we be in another ten? I mean we have hoverboards. Even if they're not how we imagined them. We have jetpacks! Have you seen 'em!? WE HAVE ROBOTS! What is this, Back to the future? Ugh.
I don't like looking ahead I suppose. I don't want to know what I'll be when I'm out of school. I don't want to know what the worlds gonna be like. I don't want to get my hopes up only for them to come crashing down, I guess.
I could wish for unicorns, and when they don't come (Because I' fairly certain they won't) How would I feel?
