Finally Safe

Check-up

I woke up and brushed my teeth, washed my face, and headed to the mall.

I got to the mall and decided on getting under clothes first. I was picked out some different pairs of lace panties with a rose design.

After that I went to some stores and bought some casual clothes with a few pairs of shoes. I also bought me a phone. I got me a plan from sprint.

When I got home I spent the time being just downloading games and programmed Kaleah's number. I also made a Instagram & twitter cuz I already had a Facebook.

By the time I was finished it was time for me to head over to the clinic because I don't have to work today.

When I got there it had a fair amount of people there but I didn't have to wait long because I had an appointment. "Ja'Kaylon Good" a brunette lady yelled

I got up and followed her to the back. "OK now Dr.Jones will be with you shortly" she said walking out

I just laid back and waited. "Hey Ja'Kaylon" Kaleah said grabbing her stethoscope

"Hello" I said with a weak smile

"OK so today I just need to do the normal check up routine and an ultrasound" she said

She checked my height, weight, checked my blood pressure, and checked my heartbeat. "OK do you want to hear the baby's heart beat AND see the ultrasound or do you just want an ultrasound" she said emphasis on and.

"Both" I said

With that she left me alone in the room.

Wow I'm going to be a mother I just can't believe it I thought to myself

Kaleah came back with a monitor. "OK I'm just going to do a regular check up then we can get to the ultrasound" she said

I nodded my head and she checked my blood pressure, heart beat, height, and weight. "Your weight gain is abnormal, you not gaining enough weight. You need to gain more weight if you want the baby to survive because the baby could die of starvation " she said with concern clear in her voice.

"OK" I said. I am so ashamed. "Kaleah can I ask you a personal question"

"Yeah sure" she said taking a seat.

"Would you keep a baby if you were raped" I said holding my tears back

She sat there for a moment. "Ja'Kaylon did you get raped" she said softly

I just let the tears run down my face. I just couldn't admit it. This is all too much. Kaleah just held me and said "its going to be alright. You need to tell the police"

She was right but that wouldn't get me anywhere. I have seen him get away with too much because of his police friends. "Kaleah it would do me any good, knows too many police men, he's just gonna get away with it" I said fixing my face but the tears kept coming

She just nodded. "Well let's get to the ultrasound" she said handing me a tissue

I pulled up my shirt and laid down. She put a clear gel on my stomach followed by some circle thingy. "That's the baby's heart beat" she said point in to a throbbing dot on the monitor screen.

"Omg its so beautiful" I said. Then I heard a faint beat "is that the heart beat" I asked

"Yes it is" Kaleah said with a bright smile "I remember when I was pregnant with Elijah, I was so happy"

When she was finished she wiped the gel off my stomach. Then some one walked in.

"Am I too lat for the appointment"

Sorry I didn't update yesterday but I have been so busy with Christmas shopping n stuff for christmas
