I walked closer to the light and stopped when I saw me. My hospital bed and Kaleah broke down in the hallway as they tried to revive me. "Mommy you need go back" Taleah said

"But mommy wanna stay with you" the tears came again

"But mommy, it not your time" she cried

"No don't cry baby girl" I rubbed her back as she cried on my shoulder

"Its not your time go back before its too late" my mom said

I was still watching from the window when they were trying to revive Jay. I was so hurt but I knew that she wanted to give up. I knew that she was tired of the pain and hurt she was feeling.

I just wish that she didn't have to go through this. She is a good person and she doesn't deserve this horrible shit.

Kaleah sat by the window crying as the doctors were trying to save Ja'Kaylon. She was giving up slowly and the longer she took to go back the closer she was to death.

"I'm sorry but we can't do anything else...we have to pronounce her dead" Dr. Carr said

There was nothing more they could do but there was a lot more God could do. Dr. Carr was about to walk out before Ms. Harrington, a nurse stopped him. "Wait"

"We have a slight pulse, its very faint and its barely there but she's not dead" Ms. Harrington said

Dr. Carr walked out to tell Kaleah the good news. Went he got there he saw Cardea pacing the floor and Kaleah sitting on the floor crying. "Um I have some good news and bad news"

They both looked up with hope in their eyes. "We almost lost her, but she didn't quit fighting. She is alive but she's rarely hanging on, her heart beat is faint but she didn't die, and she is still in a coma"

Everyone just wanted Jay to wake up. Deep down Kaleah was blaming herself for this.

If only I didn't let Jay meet Jamal Lele thought to herself.

Lele started crying again. She was so heartbroken because she didn't want to lose her best friend.
