Jin's POV

So finally, tomorrow will be the midterm. I've been studying nonstop with Class Prep lately. To be honest, studying is kinda fun.

Yoongi, Hoseok, Namjoon and Haena also joined us the second night. It was so much fun even though Yoongi slept most of the times, he could solve most of the exercises like wtf is wrong with this kid.

Hoseok is just like happy virus. He was horsing around like an idiot but he could solve the exercises instantly if Hyerin told him to. Did I mention that Hoseok is the vice class principal? He never did anything to help the Class Prep though, but she never said or complained a thing to teacher.

Namjoon was into studying as well until he found some interesting words in chemistry so he added those words and ideas to the lyrics. He's such a creative bastard.

Haena first came to the coffee break room with tons of mangas until Hyerin scolded her to keep them back in the room. She actually studied and listened to Class Prep like every seconds.

I wonder when did I stop studying. I was a nerd before but then a lot of things happened that made me like this. Oh, that's when mom left me ...

That's not the point now since I know the basics so it's not that difficult for me to learn those stuffs. I wonder if I could rank the first because I feel like we'll get through all these shits thanks to Hyerin.

"Ya, what are you standing there for?" Hyerin nudged me so that I came back to reality. "Cooking class is this way." She pointed at the cooking class in the opposite direction.

"Okay, let's go." I ruffled her hair and started walking to the cooking class with her. I'm so excited to see the menu today.

So yeah, I got paired up with both of my roommates. Namjoon and Donghoon. Some of the guys mumbled something like 'cooking class is only suited for girls' like what the hell are they thinking. Boys don't have hands?

Why should all these stuffs fall into girls' hands all the times? We should at least know how to cook too. Girls also get tired doing these kinds of things.

I took a quick glance at the Class Prep's side to see that she's paired up with Soojung and Minsoo. Oh shit, I already felt chills up my spine. I have the feelings like world war III is going to start at any second.

Teacher told us to start cooking anything we want. I'm thinking of making Kimchi Soup so I told those guys my opinion. They just shrugged and started doing the work.

Donghoon didn't talk to me and showed an expression like he didn't want to do this but he had to because attending this class increased his class activities scores.

"Guys, we all know that tomorrow will be the midterm right?" Our teacher asked the class and we all nodded as a response. "So, we'll spare you some of the time to review today. This cooking class is the last class for you guys today." She said then everyone cheered.

I looked back to see Namjoon cutting onions. He couldn't even cut them and I just stood there laughing. He noticed me and signaled me to show him. I started chopping quickly one after another and he made a 'wow' face.

Something interrupted me from doing my work. I heard shouts from the other side so I looked up to see what's going on.

"Can you just shut up?!?!" Soojung was yelling at Class Prep while holding a knife in her hand. She was chopping vegetables but when she turned around to shout at Hyerin, she didn't keep that knife down causing it to cut Class Prep's hand.

Her hand was bleeding. The blood ran through the fingers and dropped on the floor. Soojung instinctively dropped the knife on the floor, cupping her mouth with her hands. Hyerin was standing there, looking at Soojung while using her right hand to hold the wrist of left hand that got cut. Her eyes are filled with tears and she bit her bottom lip.

That's when I realized I can't stand by and watch anymore. It hurts me to see her like this. It hurts me to see her hurt. It hurts me to see her in pain and I don't know why.

I walked up from my place immediately and grabbed her right wrist that didn't get cut as I started leading her to the infirmary. The nurse wasn't there and the lights were off. I turned the lights on and told her to sit still on the bed.

She obediently listened to me and did as I told her to. I brought the first aid kit up to her without saying anything and started looking at her wound.

Thanks god, it wasn't that deep. I wiped the blood off her hands and started applying something to clean her wounds. After that, I bandaged her hand slowly and carefully. She flinched and cried but she tried not to make a sound. I kept the first aid kit back to where it was then I stood in front of her as she still sat down on the bed.

"Seriously, what happened?" I kind of yelled then she looked up at me. She couldn't utter a word so she looked back down to the floor and started crying loudly.

Oh shit, not again. This is the second time now I made her cry. I didn't know how to comfort girls. Not even myself.

I ran my fingers through my hair, thinking of what to do. I sat down next to her on the infirmary's bed. She's still crying without looking at me.

"Ya, I'm sorry." I blurted out so that she looked at me. Her eyes are filled with tears and she looked fragile and vulnerable. I pulled her into a hug.

Not actually a hug, but I just pulled her head forward so that she could cry on my chest. She didn't resist and she didn't say anything. Instead, she continued crying on my chest, letting her tears soaked my uniform.

My heartu is beating way too fast.

"Okay okay, stop crying. I'm really sorry. I shouldn't have shouted like this again." I patted her head slowly and caressed her hair. I turned my face a little downward just close enough for me to smell her hair.

Her hair smelled good. I wondered what shampoo did she use lol. I gave a slight peck on her hair unconsciously and realized that I'm stupid for doing that. I hope she didn't notice that I just kiss her hair.

We're not anything. We're just fake.

And yet, I didn't want to let her go.
