Hyerin's POV

I walked to the airport with my mom, carrying stuffs with me. I guess I'll be going for sure. But . . . Jin.

  "Mom, are you sure you want to send me off? Your schedules are full today." I told her as we queued up for the check ups.

  "It's fine, Hyerin ah. I still don't want you to go though . . ." My mom said, brushing my bangs to the other side.

  "But dad . ." I told her and she sighed.

  "We could just talk with him again, there's no way the two of us can't win him alone." She cheered me up and I smiled.

For a split of second, my phone's notifications popped up very quick and I thought it's going to burst. I realized it was texts from Haena.

  "Ya! You are going to USA?"

  "Hey! Why are you not replying me?"

  "Hyerin!!"

I frowned then dialed her. She shouted through the phone and I thought I could be deaf at anytime soon.

  "Hyerin, you've become seriously stupid." She sighed through the phone and she told me what happened. My hands are trembling and I almost dropped the phone from my hand. I realized that I'm already crying.

Jin did this for me?

  "Hyerin, what happened?" My mom became panicked and I looked at her slowly and shakily.

  "Mom . . . can you help me talk to dad? I- I don't wanna go." I stuttered and she hugged me.

  "That will do. I know from the start that you don't want to." She caressed my hair and I allowed myself to be in my own little world for a few minutes.

I pulled our hugs away. "Mom, you should go back to the hospital. I have a very important thing to do." I told her and she nodded, smiling.

I grabbed my luggage and ran outside to take taxi to Jin's house. Why is he doing this . . just why is he lying . . he didn't want to break up . . and why did haena tell me just now? She should've told me sooner!

I couldn't stop myself from crying. It took like one hour to arrive his house because of the freaking traffic. I rang his bell but no one came out. I started shivering again and my tears fell down from my eyes one after another.

I tried to open the gate and realized that it's unlocked. I closed it back and ran inside immediately. It was dark so I turned the lights on; I went upstairs to his room.

He was lying on the ground, cuts on his left wrist and the blood is spilled all over the white lilies.

  "Jin!" I yelled, running toward him. I lifted him up and he was opening his eyes slowly to meet mines. His face is extremely pale. "Hey! What are you doing?" I shouted, crying.

  "Hyerin? You didn't go . . .?" He said as soft as whispers. I helped him to his bed and examined the cuts. Luckily, they weren't that deep. I cured them and placed a wet towel on his forehead. He was sleeping so soundly so I sighed in relief.

I cleaned the room for him and sat down beside him. I cried again, seeing him in this state and realized that I'm stupid for not knowing his intentions.

For a moment, he was shivering and his lips quivered. I stood up immediately, "hey, what's wrong jin?" I exclaimed in surprise.

  "I-I'm cold." He said without opening his eyes. I pulled his blanket up to his neck and he was still shivering. I decided to sleep beside him and hugged him. I think he felt warmer somehow because the shivering stopped.

I heard his steady breathing so I sighed in relief. Jin, I'm not going to leave you no matter what.

I opened my eyes to see myself still sleeping on his bed. I glanced to the other side but Jin is nowhere to be seen. I rubbed my eyes and searched for him everywhere in the room but he's not here.

I decided to walk downstairs then I heard noises coming from the kitchen. I strolled there and saw him cooking something. I walked closer to him.

  "Ya, what are you doing? You aren't supposed to do this. Are you okay now?" I looked at Jin and his face is brighter than before. I placed my palm on his forehead. I think he's okay now.

   "I'm okay now." He smiled and pinched my nose. Still, I led him to the living room and told him to sit on the couch.

  "Sit here," I commanded as I pointed at the couch. "I'll be the one who cook." I told him, about to walk away when he grabbed my wrist suddenly, pulling me to the couch causing me to lay down beside him.

  "I miss you so much, Hyerin." He whispered against my forehead and I looked up to see tears welled up in his eyes.

  "You think I don't?" I hugged him tighter as he caressed my hair.

Yes, I just want us to be like this.

  "By the way, why did you decide not to go?" He asked me and I looked up at his face and smiled.

"Because I want to be with you." I told him and he chuckled.

"You copied my style, didn't you?" He asked and we both giggled.

There's a few seconds of silence until he said, "thank you."

"Thank you too." I woke up from the couch slightly when I said that but he pulled me closer so I'm still laying next to him, his arm wrapping under my neck.

He looked at me, smiling then his face came closer to mine. We were so close that I could feel the heat of his body warm mine and the soft whispers of his breath as he exhaled. In an instant, his lips were on mine. Our lips connected once again after many weeks of suffering. I cried silently, continuing the kiss.

Tilting his head, he deepened the kiss and I did the same. I heard the strange little sounds coming from him which suggested that he's been crying too. His breathing was deep and loud in my ears.

His lips are like drugs.

He parted our lips and we looked at each other, smiling from ear to ear.

As expected, we can smile as long as we're together.

Kim Seok Jin, thank you so much. You really ruined my life.

Thanks for coming to my life and change the nerdy me to a completely new person. I experienced love for the first time in my life and I'm glad that you're the one.

I will never ever leave your side anymore and I will always be with you, no matter what. I don't care how much sacrifices I'll make to be with you, I just want us to stay together like this.

Really, thanks again. I love you.
