Third Wheel

After the medal ceremony Shine and Allen went backstage where they gathered around Javier.

"Congratulations Javi, we should have another party in Toronto when we're back"Shine happily said to Javier.

"Yes we should!"Nam agree. Monika nodded enthusiastically.

Yuzuru smile at them as he also wants to join their enthusiasm toward Javier but the his hesitation is obvious.

Monika notices Yuzuru and move closer to him.

"Excuse us" Monika said while pushing Yuzuru in the back to move him away from the group.

"Where are you going?"Javier confusedly asked Monika.

Monika stopped pushing Yuzuru for a second "I just need to talk with him" Monika answered Javier. She smile before they finally leave the group.

"What was that?" Nam confusedly asked.

Shine follow them by her eyes and see that they are talking seriously about something. Shine frown as she curiously wanted to know what Monika and Yuzuru are talking about but they are too far for her to heard them.

"By the way, where is Kazumi?"Nam suddenly asked.

"Yeah where is she, Hana?" Javier asked too. He direct his inquiry to Shine but she didn't hear them.

"Hana?!?"Nam calls bringing her attention back.

"Huh?"Shine said, startled.

"Allen, what is happening to Hana?" Javier asked mocking Shine.

"She is probably still curious about them" Allen answer as he refer to Monika and Yuzuru from the distance.

Everyone laugh except for Shine.

"Why do I need to know where Kazumi is in the first place?" Shine annoyedly said in her mind.

"She's probably with team Japan. I think it's for the better though. At least she don't need to pretend around them?" Shine said the truth unconsciously.

"Pretend?"Javier caught Shine's word instantly.

"Yes pretend. She is pretending to be nice in front of you guys, when in fact she is always bitchin' around with us. And she also pretend that she can't speak english, when she is so fluent in using the language, fooling you guys" Shine annoyedly said in her mind.

"I mean, at least she don't have to act as if she understand what we're saying" Shine said instead, controlling her wrath.

"Right!"Javier said with a doubtful look for Shine.

Apparently all of them are staying in the same hotel. So, they all decided to go back together after dinner.

"Bye" Shine gleefully said to them at the lobby, as she and Allen wave goodbye to them.

Allen and Shine ride the elevator and he press the number ten. When they reach their floor, Allen walk Shine in her room first.

"Go inside" Allen said opening the door for Shine.

"Thank you! You should go to your room too" Shine said.

"Can't I just stay here instead?"Allen playfully said while he put his arms against the door and tilt his head. Allen then smile seductively.

"Goodbye Allen!"Shine said while she closes her door.

Shine instatly prepare herself to sleep; she brushed her teeth, washed her face and change her clothes. Maybe because of a jet-lag, but Shine can't sleep yet.
