Some Updates

Yuzuru and Kazumi head back to Japan while Shine, Allen, Javier, Nam and Monika went back to Toronto the next morning. Shine is still off duty until the second day of their arrival.

"What did you guys talk about?" Monika asked to Shine, when Shine settled herself.

"Talk?" Shine asked. She remember the night after the gala -when Yuzuru knocked at her door late at night.

"Ahmm..." Yuzuru said and he suddenly lost his confidence that's with him earlier.

"Surely you don't come here to just sigh! Are you?" Shine asked in a more direct manner.

"I know it's wrong for me to say this because I know it's not anyone's fault!" Yuzuru seriously said.

"What are you talking about?" Shine confusedly asked.

"I mean..."Yuzuru hesitantly said and he looked down.

Shine move closer to him and patted his back.

"It's okay" Shine encouragingly said to Yuzuru.

Yuzuru bring his eyes up to meet Shine's eyes.

"The World Championship..."Yuzuru finally said and bring his head down again.
Shine lift Yuzuru's face to looked at her.

"I think I know how you feel. You are Happy for Javi but at the same time you are regretful of the fact that you lose. Is that it?" Shine said what Yuzuru wanted to say.

Yuzuru nodded.

"I am Happy for Javi, I know he works hard for that gold medal but I feel like I overestimated myself " Yuzuru added. He say things without looking at Shine.

"Yuzuru, It's perfectly fine to think that way. After all you are the Olympic Gold Medalist, the World Champion, two times Grand Prix Champion and three time National Champion. But I think you need to experience this kind of thing so you can be stronger"Shine said to console him.

"But haven't I had suffer enough? From my collision in China to my surgery after Nationals"Yuzuru said and Shine can hear his frustration. He cried.

Shine move her hands up and down in Yuzuru's back.

"Shhh...you surpass your collision in China and see the result -you are, once again the grand prix champion. And I think the result of world's is not to punished you but to reward Javi for his hard work" Shine said to comfort Yuzuru more.

Yuzuru wipe his tears and looked at Shine.

"Yes! Javi really work hard, he deserve to be rewarded. And aside from I am off the iced for a month I also think it's because I am distracted" Yuzuru finishes while he is sobbing.

Shine remove her hand from his back, feeling guilty in Yuzuru's last words. Yuzuru then realizes that his words is not very tactful.

"No! No! Don't get me wrong. I am not distracted because of you" Yuzuru said waving his hand as he try to take back what he said but it's too late.

Shine take a deep breath and sit back.

"It's okay. It's kind of honor actually that I can cause you the Gold medal hahaha" Shine said laughing to change the bad atmosphere that is building.

Yuzuru laugh too.

"Thank you!"Yuzuru then said.

"For what?"Shine asked, curiously.

"For making me feel okay" Yuzuru said and suddenly he become serious.

"Earlier, you asked me why didn't I go to Mikka, Kazumi or Monika"Yuzuru said and he is serious.

"Yah..you told me your reasons!"Shine said casually.

"They are all just excuses"Yuzuru said and exhale.

Shine move from her seat to face Yuzuru -she looked tense. She did not talk and sighed instead as Yuzuru continue.

"I told you before that I don't share personal stuff with other people except for Shine" Yuzuru paused.

Shine become more tense now.

"Where are we going with this?" Her inner self nervously asked.

Yuzuru can tell that Shine is nervous. He decided to continue but he exhale first.

"Don't worry I will not insist that she was you because clearly you are not her" Yuzuru clarify and Shine relaxes. Yuzuru smile a bit and continue.

"...but I feel that with you, I can tell everything."Yuzuru finishes.

Shine smile when she hear Yuzuru .

"I am happy that you feel that way. You can always come to me if you want someone to talk to" Shine happily said.

"Always?"Yuzuru repeat the word.

"Yes! Always!"Shine confirm.

"Allen might not like the idea?"Yuzuru said almost factually.

"Oh right you are with Allen now!"Shine's inner self reminded her.

"Allen will understand. That's just the way he is" Shine said -she is proud of Allen.

"So, you and him are official now?" Yuzuru suddenly asked.

"How?.."Shine asked and she know it is a silly question so she didn't continue.

"Well, seeing your necklace has the same charm as in your bracelet which I am guessing from Allen. I am assuming that my assumption is true?" Yuzuru still answer her unfinished question. Shine can hear in his voice a hope that Shine will say no.

"Ah this"Shine hold her sun pendant.

"I will remove this when I am back in your arms, Yuzu" Shine said in her mind.

"He is a nice person" Shine said as she think of Allen.

Yuzuru did not say a thing at first and just smile at her. Yuzuru frown and exhale again before continuing.

"Shine, will be happy that her Bestfriend finally find someone"Yuzuru smile.

"I think, Shine, will be happier if she see you finally find someone too"Shine lied and smile.

"I will try"Yuzuru said and stand up.

"Yes! Your talk with Yuzuru!" Monika firmly repeats herself.

Shine frown to Monika.

"Ah that talk" Shine said as she realizes what Monika is refering to.

"nothing actually...it's just that we decided to start things over" Shine added as she relay what Yuzuru and her agreed to do.

"Is there another one you want to tell me?"Monika then curiously asked

"Nothing!"Shine lied.

Then she give Monika a fierce looked.

"But why did you do it?"Shine asked Monika.

"Do what?"Monika tried to deny their doing.

"O c'mon Monika, Yuzu told me everything" Shine said with mixed emotions.

"Well, actually, we can't stand seeing you guys not in a good terms plus Yuzu said that he also wants to talk to you"Monika said with all honesty.

Then, Shine throw her body to Monika and hugged her.

"Thank You" Shine said as her hugged to Monika become tighter.

"You're welcome" Monika said and Shine can tell from her voice that she is a little surprised when Shine hugged her.

"Now! You can released me" Monika jokingly said as if she's being choked by Shine.

"Hana!"Allen suddenly appear and excitedly call her name.

Shine releases Monika and turn her head.

"Allen?" Shine said questioning his presence. But as he walks closer to her, she can see that Allen have a good news for her.
