Gaurdian of the wolves part: 7

Rin and kakashi were up before sunrise.. Rin outside playing with the new wolf packs pups.. Kakashi sitting on the porch watching, Rin smiled as she opened her right eye and whispered something to the pups. The pups then either barked or whined as Rin signalled kakashi over.
"Yeah I'm coming-" Kakashi was then tackled by the pups who began licking him making him laugh
"Rin what the heck?" He asked as one of the pups say on his lap and howled.. Well tried too, Rin giggled
"Naw, he's the runt.. The wolves say he'll become the new omega"
"Naw poor guy" kakashi whispered picking up the pup and looked at it, it's multicoloured eyes staring into kakashi's one eye
"He's like us"
"Hm? How?"
"So you didn't notice he has one blue and one green eye?"
"What?" The wolf pup then went over to Rin and stared at her. Rin smiled "he does..." Rin whispered smiling, kakashi smiled as he scooted over to her and sat beside her
"He's different too, look at his left ear" kakashi said smiling, the little pup had a chunk taken from the pups ear. Rin smiled and patted her lap making the little wolf run up to her and bark
"He's so cute" Rin cooed smiling
"He is" kakashi agreed looking to Rin and sighing.
"Naruto is healing fast.. He usually does so there's nothing to be worried about" kakashi explained sighing, Rin nodded. She then smiled
"Well I should be going to buy some things from town.." Asuma looked to Rin and smiled
"I'll stay and take care of Naruto and the wolves" asuma stated, kakashi looked to asuma and nodded
"You coming kakashi?" Rin asked. Kakashi glanced at her and nodded standing up
"Yeah sure" he muttered hopping into the ute. Rin close behind him as she started the engine up. Kakashi looked back and sighed
"So why are you going out?"
"Cause... I have friends with me.. Might as well celebrate the one thing that always made me happy" Rin muttered smiling as she looked to the snow
"And what would that be?"
"Christmas... I always got to visit my dad this time of year... It still makes me happy knowing I'm in a place he cared for so much... It's sorta why I stay far from others... Just to take care of my dads land.." Rin whispered smiling, kakashi looked out
"Why even celebrate? It only lasts for a day"
"So does your birthday.. Easter... Valentine's Day... Any day only lasts 24 hours kakashi.... you cherish special times not forget about them" Rin muttered sighing as she looked out
"To be honest... I've never really cared about getting the presents like most kids... Just having time to spend with my dad and the wolves was enough for me..." Rin whispered sighing "but things have changed..." Rin sighed and glanced to kakashi
"At least you have a reason" kakashi muttered
"What do you mean by I have a reason? Don't you-"
"No" kakashi said sighing "never had a motive... Or any type of reason to even think about Christmas... Or any holiday really" kakashi muttered, Rin looked at him shocked
"You must have a pretty boring life"
"It's alright... Not the best one" kakashi whispered Rin looked to kakashi and sighed
"You don't have to think like that. I haven't had the best life either.... But you don't need to be like that about it. Nothing really stops you from enjoying the time you have"
"Yeah I know... I guess I just stop myself" kakashi whispered sighing. Rin then parked the car and hopped out, she looked at him and cleared her throat
"You wanna help me? Or do I have to drag you out of the car?"
"Help ya" he muttered getting out and looking around..
"Geez people like the holiday don't they?" Rin chuckled as kakashi looked at all the Christmas lights that were set up..
"Yeah.. It's a real holiday here in Wolfridge. We get so much snow it's a full white Christmas here" Rin muttered grabbing his hand and pulling kakashi forwards. Kakashi looked at her and looked around
"Now come and help me pick out lights already! I've got people over so I can actually decorate the house!" Rin exclaimed smiling. Kakashi smiled and nodded
"Fine I'll help"
"Yes!" Rin exclaimed again as she ran foward. Kakashi shaking his head and quickly following her as she looked around.. Rin then found a store and went in... Kakashi quickly following her in..
"Well your full of Energy aren't you?" Kakashi muttered as Rin grabbed his hand again and pulled him..
"Okay okay I'm coming geez Rin slow down!" Kakashi muttered, Rin just giggled at him making him smile... Rin then got out a reel of lights and smiled
"Think this will do?"
"Rin... I'm honestly no good at this kinda stuff..." Kakashi whispered to her making her laugh
"Come on! You have got have at least celebrated Christmas once in your life!"
"Well sorry if I ever did it was when I was like 2 or something" Kakashi muttered looking around. He then spotted something that made him smile
"Well what about that?" He asked pointing towards a light up snowflakes. Rin smiled and hugged him
"See not that hard is it?" Kakashi looked at her and sighed
"Yeah... Now go crazy" Kakashi told her as she grinned
"You know I kinda like having you around all the time kakashi" she whispered to him hugging him and running off. Kakashi chuckled at her and looked around, hands in his pockets.. He walked around the store... Kinda bored until he spotted something and smiled... 'She'll like this' he thought picking the object up and looking around.. He then sighed and quickly paid for it
"Oh.. For a special someone?" The shopkeeper asked Kakashi sighed
"Nah, just a gift for a friend" he muttered as he then took it off the shopkeeper and handed the man the money and hid it in his jacket. Smiling to himself as he found Rin staring at some decorations.. Kakashi smiled and tapped her shoulder quickly moving behind her as she turned around. He then swiped what she was looking at and smirked. She then frowned and looked at him
"What did you do?" Kakashi smirked placing the object back and chuckling
"Just having a little fun.. Is that so bad?" Kakashi asked, Rin smiled and sighed
"Your a weirdo"
"Hey your one two. Another similarity between us" Rin blushed slightly as she pushed him back a little
"Shut up" she growled making him smile. Rin then bought the lights she gathered and grabbed Kakashi by the arm making him smile.
"Don't have to drag me"
"Oh I do if I want you near"
"So you like it when I'm close do you?" Kakashi asked smiling, Rin smirked
"Sometimes" Rin growled suddenly feeling something jumping at her feet. She look down and giggled
"You silly pup. Have you been following us?" The pup barked, ears raised and tongue out. Kakashi smiled and took the bags from rin's grasp
"He'll get trampled with all these people. Better carry him"
"B-"
"I'll carry the bags alright?" Rin then nodded staring at kakashi..
"Your to nice to me kakashi"
"Well. You are my friend aren't you?" Rin smiled and nodded
"I am" Rin whispered smiling, kakashi sighed as they continued searching for Christmas lights...
