Guardian of the wolves part: 8

The pup barked at the lights... Rin smiling as she walked around, kakashi beside her carrying the bags.. He just watched her quietly...
"You know... It feels great actually being able to buy things for Christmas" Rin stated.. Kakashi sighed and nodded as she entered another shop... Kakashi waited outside in the cold, the pup right next to her...
'Well he's from another world.... What would be good?' Rin thought looking around
"Hello Rin-chan!"
"Oh hey Mr otumaku" Rin answered the man smiled
"Looking for something for a friend I see?"
"Yeah.."
"Who would this friend be?"
"A guy called kakashi hatake"
"You mean the character?!"
"I guess so?" Rin asked a little confused
"Well well! You've made yourself a friend from another world Rin! My dear please bring him in"
"Okay?" Rin said confused as she tapped on the glass. Kakashi looked at her through it and nodded walking in
"Oh.... Hey ryokan" Kakashi greeted smiling
"So it is you Kakashi! What a surprise... But how did you get here?" Ryokan asked confused, kakashi sighed
"No idea" Kakashi answered as he glanced at Rin who was confused
"What are you two talking about?"
"Read the Naruto manga! And you'll find out!" Ryokan shouted smiling. Rin looked to kakashi
"You mean that show people call Naruto? The Japanese anime?"
"Yes yes yes!" Ryokan shouted cheerfully
"That man beside you is from that. He is team 7's teacher after all!"  Ryokan shouted smiling widely... Kakashi sighed
"Yeah well. It's not that big of deal I'm from another world.. To be honest I kinda like it here more" ryokan's expression suddenly changed as kakashi spoke.. Rin looked at him shocked
"You mean that?" She asked... Both eyes open and staring at the man shocked
"Yeah. I do.." He said smiling at her as he walked over and threw her a book.
"Open it" Kakashi asked,  Rin nodded and a certain page she opened was..
"Kakashi?"
"That's right, what ryokan says is correct I am.. From another world... But to people here I guess I'm an anime character... So is asuma and Naruto... That's Naruto there" Kakashi spoke softly pointing to a blonde boy with whisker markings on the page
"That's Naruto?"
"Yeah that's him.. That's Sakura... One of my other students"
"Sakura..."
"And lastly that's Sasuke" Kakashi told her smiling behind his mask slightly... At least she wasn't yelling at him
"That's cool" Rin whispered making kakashi smile
"I'll tell you more when we get home... Asuma might be able to help me as well.."  Rin smiled and looked to the book and smiled
"I'd like that" Rin whispered Kakashi smiled at her and looked down to the little pup who was jumping at his legs
"Okay.. Up" Kakashi muttered picking up the little wolf and sighing
"He's almost as much trouble as Naruto" ryokan and Kakashi then chuckled
"He was pretty annoying" ryokan agreed... Kakashi nodded
"Have you gone to there world?" Rin asked ryokan
"Well of course... I was brought there by accident though... Kakashi was the first person I encountered there as well"
"Yeah.... Kinda weird cause he just gasped and yelled my name at me"
"Yeah... Sorry again" ryokan muttered as he rubbed the back of his neck,
"It's in the past ryokan"
"Yeah" ryokan agreed as kakashi looked to Rin
"Well I'll leave you to your Christmas shopping and stuff" kakashi muttered about to walk away
"No you can stay" Rin suddenly said grabbing his arm and hugging it making kakashi look at her
"Hmm why is that?"
"Because... You'll freeze of there"
"Don't worry about me. I'm a ninja I can handle myself"
"Ninja?"
"That's right"
"So that's why you weren't affected by jumping off the roof"
"Well yeah.." Kakashi whispered as she pulled on his arm making him walk with her "don't need to drag me Rin!"  Kakashi muttered as Rin began looking around again, arm locked onto kakashi's.. Keeping him with her
"Where would I go anyway? It's cold outside... I don't even know this place very well"
"Because" Rin stated... Kakashi sighed and started looking around
"Why not that?" He asked.. Rin looked up to see a glowing wolf for a door. Rin smiled and hugged him, letting go of his arm and picking one up
"Yeah!" Rin exclaimed. Kakashi sighed
"You do know I'm just suggesting things right?"
"But you've got good taste!" Rin exclaimed hugging him again making him smile as she walked over to the counter
"So what you get?" Ryokan asked.. Looking to kakashi. "And why was he with you? You letting him stay in that big house of yours?" Rin nodded sighing
"Yeah.. With a few more friends as well.. Ryokan?"
"Yeah?"
"You said you know Kakashi right?"
"Yeah why?" Ryokan asked, Rin looked away and smiled
"Uh... You wouldn't happen to have anything he'd like would you?"
"Oh... I see... Well I have a few things... Come on while he's not looking!" Ryokan asked hurrying her to a store room.. Ryokan then shut the door and climbed up a ladder
"I should have something... I mean I did collect a few things from the Naruto world so I could sell them... Ah here we go!" Ryokan shouted throwing down a book, Rin caught it
"That latest version of his favourite book"
"Make out paradise?" Rin asked confused
"Hm... He loves those books. It's the only one I got... I would have gotten more but he tends to get there before everyone else"
"Thanks ryokan" Rin whispered hiding it..
"No problem.. Make sure he doesn't find it not that he will in that big house of yours"
"Yeah" Rin whispered. Rin and ryokan then walked out Kakashi looking around.. Rin then smiled
"Do i have to-"
"No it's free for one of my favourite customers" Rin smiled and nodded
"Thanks again"
"Yo... We ready to go?" Kakashi asked walking up behind Rin... Rin blushed a little as he spoke.. Ryokan smiled Widley
"Better be careful kakashi! Don't want anyone to start to like you!"
"Why would anyone here? I'm just glad I got away from all those girls" Kakashi muttered, Rin shook her head and looked to kakashi
"You coming Rin?" Kakashi asked, Rin nodded
"Coming!" She shouted following him as they soon left the town and sighed
"So.... Why don't you celebrate Christmas?"
"Never had a family to celebrate it with" kakashi stated, Rin then suddenly felt bad for him....
"You..." Rin started.... Kakashi looked at her, headband up and sharingan eye staring at her
"If I did I would of wanted to go home badly... But I don't....not anymore" kakashi whispered sighing, Rin then stopped the car and hugged him making him look at her
"What are you hugging me for now?"  Rin didn't answer... She just hugged him making him sigh
"You don't have to feel bad for me you know... It's always been like that for me... Naruto as well"
"But-"
"Don't feel bad okay? There's no point" Kakashi muttered sighing... Rin looked away and sighed as she started the car up again and drove them home... Rin thinking about she could do to help him fell a bit better...
